The reason why the researcher chooses difficulties in reading comprehension because there are many students who cannot understand what red. Therefore, the researcher wants to conduct a research titled "An Analysis of Students' Reading Comprehension Difficulties in Grade Two at Al Azhar Ajung Junior High School". Why do student reading comprehension difficulties occur the way they do in MTs Al Azhar Ajung.

Why do students' reading comprehension problems appear as they do on Al Azhar Ajung MTs.

Making inferences means that students are expected to be able to understand the text to draw conclusions from the statements in the text. This means that the instructions in the text help the students to make assumptions and draw conclusions from the text being read. Therefore, students have difficulty understanding and deriving the meaning of words from the text.20 3.

If students cannot interpret the words in the text or sentence, then the student has difficulty understanding the text.

This section consists of research methods used by researchers discussing topics, research locations, research subjects, data collection techniques used up to the research stage in order to obtain data which can then be analyzed. It allows researchers to delve into the perspectives of individuals and groups and provides a deeper understanding of the research topic beyond statistical measurements or numerical data.

Reading comprehension to be observed in student learning conducted by researchers includes comprehension in making texts, inferring the meaning of texts, the media of understanding used, difficulties faced by students in understanding texts . Reading comprehension is also based on whether or not students understand vocabulary, inferences, critical thinking, text structure, and others. In this study, researchers conduct interviews with English teachers and various students who have become research samples that aim to investigate more deeply the problems of students in reading comprehension and how to overcome or solutions that must be done so that students can understand reading well.

This concept includes creating texts, deriving the meaning of texts, vocabulary, knowledge, critical thinking, text structure and the like.28.

This understanding includes creating texts, inferring the meaning of texts, vocabulary, knowledge, critical thinking, text structure and others. This step is carried out by presenting a set of structured information and the ability to draw conclusions, because the data obtained during the process of qualitative research is usually in the form of narrative, which requires simplification without reducing its content . The purpose of this study is to present data on students' difficulties in reading comprehension and how they can be overcome or solutions that need to be implemented for students to understand reading well.

So that in this study, from the results of the data obtained, conclusions are made about what problems students face with reading comprehension and solutions or ways to overcome that should be done by teachers so that students' understanding is better.

Validity Data

The research describes the actual situation regarding the analysis of students' reading comprehension difficulties at MTs Al Azhar Ajung. Based on the results of the entire presentation, it can be concluded that the students of MTs Al Azhar Ajung still do not understand the reading texts and have difficulties in reading comprehension. The meaning of the main idea is a statement that tells the author's point of view about the topic in the text.

MT Al Azhar Ajung students have also experienced this in finding the gist of the reading or the main idea in reading the English text. This is also confirmed by the teacher that the student's ability to understand the general meaning of reading is still lacking. Based on the results of the general presentation, it can be said that the difficulties of MT Al Azhar Ajung students in reading comprehension occur due to the aspects of finding the main idea in the reading text, understanding vocabulary, drawing conclusions from reading and understanding of all. reading or implied understanding of the reading text.

Students' understanding of English reading is still lacking, but students are often lazy if they don't know the meaning of the word. Based on the results of the general presentation, it can be said that problems in reading comprehension of MT's Al Azhar Ajung students arise because students are less able to work on difficult questions from the teacher, students have no interest or interest in reading of English texts and students' lack of understanding of vocabulary. When determining the main idea, Al Azhar Ajung's MTs of students who have difficulty with reading comprehension find the main idea or main idea of ​​the reading.

It is also confirmed by the teacher MTs Al Azhar Ajung that the student's ability to understand the overall meaning of the reading is still lacking. Based on the research, it can be concluded that all the student's problems with reading comprehension test are caused by vocabulary, especially the limited knowledge or mastery of vocabulary.

Nunan defines reading comprehension as the process of getting, understanding and capturing the content of the reading. I do not understand the reading of English texts well, because my lack of knowledge such as vocabulary, that is, makes it difficult for me to understand the meaning of what I read"33. This is because there is still a lack of vocabulary, the meaning of sentences, reading, understanding of the content of the text and also because they do not know the meaning of the words in the reading.

I struggle to understand the meaning of the reading I read so I don't understand when I find the essence of the reading especially I don't know English vocabulary either"38. During reading, the students develop their knowledge in reading a text, such as by looking for the meaning of new words in the dictionary and guessing the meaning of the context. The results of the interview showed that students were not able to understand well the whole statement or meaning of the reading.

No, because in my opinion, finding meaning in reading requires understanding the meaning and purpose of the text, while my ability to interpret English text is even lacking. Less able sister because I can't understand the meanings of the reading I read, let alone the English text. I realized that my ability is still lacking in interpreting the reading, understanding the meaning and also the vocabulary of the reading used.

For example, a question that has a long sentence and needs to find the essence of the reading is difficult for students. From the explanation above, it can be said that students' MTs Al Azhar Ajung ability to work on the questions given by the teacher depends on whether the questions are easy or not, because some of the questions given by themselves are easy and some are difficult. if it is multiple choice and the questions are short, it is relatively easy, but if the text is long, students tend to read it at night.
