2019 was a year of challenges and changes, marked by global issues such as the protracted trade war between the US and China, which is the MAIN CAUSE OF THE GLOBAL ECONOMY'S SLOWNESS 4HE The US experienced a similar slowdown in its economy, which only grew by 2.3% , down from last year 4HE &ED GRADUALLY LOWERED ITS &ED &UNDS 2ATE &&2 by 75 basis points (bps) to 1.75% by the end of the year and actively intervened in the interbank market through standing open market operations (POMOs) to improve liquidity.

Throughout 2019, corporate banking was one of the main drivers of the Bank's overall credit growth, as corporate loans increased by 11.8% to Rp238.5 trillion, contributing 40.5%. Working capital loans increased 6.8% year-on-year to Rp123.8 trillion, mainly due to credit growth in the financial services and consumer finance sectors.

The responsibility of the Board to ensure the effective management of BCA's activities and risks and to ensure the provision of guidance by the board on improving the implementation of risk management policies on a regular basis.
