13. Students can explain and practice the proposal presentation II techniques.
14. Students can explain and practice proposal presentation III techniques.
15. Benefits of the Course
BasicResearch Methodology are sciences or methods used to obtain the truth using search to any particular procedure in finding the truth, depending on the reality that is being studied. Research methodology is a set of rules, activities, and procedures used by actors in a discipline. The methodology is also a theoretical analysis of a method. Researchis a systematic
investigation to increase the amount of knowledge, also a systematic and organized effort to investigate certain problems that require answers. The essence of research can be understood by studying various aspects that encourage research to conduct research. Every person has a different motivation, including influenced by their goals and profession.
In this course explained about Rationalism, Empiricism; Human Attitudes Facing Problems; Requirements for Scientific Theory; Logiko-Hypotetiko-Verification Thinking Flow.
The technique for making a research proposals includes the title, introduction (background), literature, theoretical base and research hypothesis. Beside, research method preparation techniques were also studied as well as techniques for preparing a research reports including:
presenting a research results in the form of tables and figures, techniques for preparing discussions, conclusions and suggestions, and techniques for making power points and compiling scientific articles and presentation techniques.
16. Learning Strategy
Lecturers only provide outlines of the subject or sub-topic or provide some examples from titles, introductions, hypotheses, research variables, tables andfigures , data analysis until a good and accurate reference then students are expected to ask questions that are less clear and also answer the lecturers questions.
Students will also be given assignments beside the midterms and final semester examinations.
17. Learning Material or Reading

18. Lecture Assignments Individual Assignments : Week 1 - 11:
Prepare a proposals starting from the topic, title, introduction, research method and reference, in addition to composing power points.
.
Group Assignments :
Week 12-14: One class is divided into several groups with each group having a minimum of 10 people
19. Assessment Criteria SCORING SYSTEM
Each test is given a raw score in the form of 0 to 100. Especially for the final score, the assessment is given in 7 grades, namely: A, AB, B, BC, C, D and E.
The final score of a course is determined from the combined results of the evaluation of all test scores held by the lecturer concerned. Examples of test weights (quiz), (structured assignments), (Practical exam), (soft skills), (MSE), (LSE) tests are 1,5: 1,5: 2: 1: 2: 3.
Example:
Students X take the Basic Research Methodology exam, the score for each exam is as follows:
Quiz test = 70
MSE = 70
Assignment = 65
LSE = 75
Practical exam = 60 Softskill = 80
Then the final score (still in raw score)
Processing Final Score (raw score / in the form of numbers) becomes a Quality Score in the form of letters processed in 7 (seven) grades. From the final score (raw score), the mean value (X) can be processed. The grouping of values is done using the ASSESSMENT REFERENCE ASSESSMENT (PAP) as follows
Raw Score Letter Grade
≥ 75 70 – 74.9 65 – 69.9 60 – 64.9 55 – 59.9 40 – 54.9
< 40
A AB
B BC
C D E (70x1,5) + (65x1,5) + (60 x 2) + (70 x 2) + (75 x 3)+ 80
1,5 + 1,5 + 2 + 2 + 3+1 767,5
11 = 69,77
The score presentation from the processing results in above uses 7 ratings, as follows:
Letter Grade Quality Score A
AB B BC
C D E
4 3,5
3 2,5
2 1 0 20. Etc
• Students are allowed to attend the LSE if 75% are present in the lecture (min 9 times present, for new students) and 50% are present (for repeatingstudents)
• If you do not take quiz, uts, you must have a doctor's certificate and a maximum of 1 week after quiz / uts / you will immediately take the follow-up exam
• Collection of structured assignments and practicum reports maximum of 1 week from the provision of assignments / practical activities
• Type question for quiz: essays
• For MSE and LSE : multiple choice
