Sitzung am 17. Juli 1912.
Anwesend waren Vonnegut, Rath, Stempfel,
Scherer, Suder, Stecker, Geo Vonnegut, Lieber
und Westing.
Präsident Vonnegut führte den Vorsitz.
Das Protokoll der letzten Sitzung wurde
verlesen und angenommen.
Seminardirektor Rath legte einen Plan vor,
bezüglich auf Erwerbung des Certifikats
für Lehrer f in Turnvereinen.
Nach längerer Beratung wurde auf Antrag
Suder’s beschlossen, den Plan in Princip
gutzuheiβen, und Rath und Scherer zu
beauftragen, nähere Einzelheiten auszu=
arbeiten und einen vollständigen Plan in
der nächsten Sitzung vorzulegen.
Ein Vorschlag der Adm. Behörde zur Verkürzung
der Unterrichtsstunden von 60 auf 55 wurde
auf Antrag Suder’s ebenfalls in Princip
gutgeheiβen und beschlossen, eine genaue
Vorlage dem Verwaltungsrat zur Abstimmung
vorzulegen.
Es wurde beschlossen 100 Kataloge zur Ausstellung
des “International Congress of Hygiene and
Demography” in Washington, im September 1912
zu senden.
Turner Hugo Mueneh in St. Louis übersandte
dem Seminar $75 00 als Geschenk. Der Sekretair
wurde beauftragt, Turner Müneh den Dank des
Verwaltungsrats zu übermitteln.
Folgende Rechnungen wurden zur Zahlung
angewiesen:

Eine Rechnung von Protestant Deaconen
Hospital in Betage von $23 25 für Behandlung
des Studenten Solze wurde zur Zahlung
angewiesen mit dem Verständniβ, daβ Solze
dem Verwaltungsrat später diese Summe zurück=
bezahlt.
Auf Antrag Scherer’s wurde die Adm. Behörde ermächtigt,
von Applikanten zur Aufnahme in das Seminar
vorläufige schriftliche Prüfungen zu verlangen.

Meeting on July 17, 1912.

Last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
Dean Rath presented a plan regarding the obtaining of the certificate by teachers in the gymnastic unions. After a long discussion, Suder moved to accept the plan in general and instruct Rath and Scherer to refine specific details and present a complete plan at the next meeting. Motion granted.
The Admin. Office suggested the duration of the classed be reduced from 60 (minutes) to 55.
For the second time, Suder moved to accept the idea in general. Motion granted with the decision to have an exact draft presented to the Board of Trustees to vote on.
It was decided to send 100 catalogs for exhibition at the International Congress of Hygiene and
Demography in Washington in September of this year.
Turner Hugo Mueneh from St. Louis sent a $75 donation to the Seminary. The secretary was instructed to convey the Board of Trustees ‘s gratitude to Turner Müneh.

A bill from Protestant Deacons Hospital in the amount of $23 25 for the treatment of the student Solze was sent on for payment with the understanding that Solze will pay back the amount to the Board of the Trustees later.
Scherer moved to authorize the Admin. Office to require preliminary written tests from the applicants to the Seminary. Motion granted.
At this point, the meeting was adjourned.
