The buildings occupied by the Normal College of the North American Gymnastic Union are in conn<c- tion with the German .House. The are adequate for class instruction and gymnastic exercises. They meet the requirements as to construction, sanitation and decoration.
Their equipment is ample for work that is being done. They have ample library and laboratory
facilities, but, of course, have no preparation for vo·
cational work other than the line of physical culture.
The teachers are qualified in every respect. The president, Emil Rat.h is a. !llan of exception.al pre-- paration and executive, ab1hty. In the various de partments they have as instructors teachers from the training and high schools of Indianapolis, and re- presentatives of the various medical schools of the city.

the exhibition of the work done by the students was . remarkable for its efficiency.
This school is recognized by the leading institu- tions of the United States and Germany as preparing students in the best manner. Students seeking ad- mission must offer graduation from a four-year course in an American high school that requires the comple- tion of an eight-year elementary course for admission to its first-year class.
Your committee would recommend that this school be recognized by the State Board of Education, as preparing teachers of physical culture for classes A, Band C.
Yours very respectfully, A.O. Neal, H. G. Brown.
