Direktor Rath wurde beauftragt, Charles Smidl als Assistant für das nächste Jahr anzustellen an Stelle von Geo. Altmann und zwar unter annähernd denselben Bedingungen, d. h. daβ Smidl seine Studien im Seminar sowie in der Indiana
University School of Medicine fortsetzt unter Auf- sicht der Administrativbehörde, daβ die das Seminar das Schulgeld bezahlt und daβ er zehn monatliche Salärzahlungen von nicht mehr als $50 pro Monat erhält.
Zwei Angebote für das Anstreichen des Turnsaals und des Toilettenzimmers für Männer sowie das
Reinigen der Hörsäle und der Bibliothek lagen vor: A. Fandrey, $410; Erich Schelski, $516. Direktor Rath und Carl Lieber wurden beauftragt, die Arbeit
so billig wie möglich vornehmen zu lassen.

Dean Rath was instructed to hire Charles Smidl as an assistant for the next year to replace Geo.
Altman under the approximately same conditions, meaning that Smidl will continue his studies in the Seminary as well as in the Indiana University School of Medicine under the supervision of the Administrative Office, that the Seminary will pay his tuition and that he will receive ten monthly salary payments of no more than $50/month.
Two bids for the painting of the gymnasium and the men’s restroom, as well as cleaning of the auditoriums and the library had been received: A. Fandrey, $410 and Erich Schelski, $516.
Dean Rath and Carl Lieber were instructed to have the work done as inexpensive as possible.
