My life has not been the same since he forgave me and reconciled me to our Heavenly Father through the work of the Holy Spirit. Second, I am grateful for the influence of my parents, Thomas and Cindy Johnson, and grandparents, Dr. Their love for the Lord, struggles in life, and caring for my sister Kim and me taught me valuable lessons that still shape me today.

Marcus Martin has been a fearless warrior and faithful companion in preaching the gospel to captives. The men in the Men of Valor program, both inside and outside prison, help me see the power of the gospel to change lives. Currey Womack, Men's Life Recovery Director at Nashville Rescue Mission, sent me to the training in 2012.

Bethlehem's love for the Holy Scriptures, joy in singing the gospel and desire to be a spiritually healthy church, encourage my family and me. Together, we are raising four sons, Daniel, Samuel, Elias and Ezra, to be brave men; and us.

INTRODUCTION

For years brave men have been committed to preaching the gospel in the prisons of Tennessee. Inmates at TTCC need to know the hope of the gospel and how to. The impact of abandonment is in the DNA of the prison ministry of brave men and is at the heart of the gospel.

The first aim was to assess the current understanding of the impact of abandonment among TTCC detainees. In the first chapter of Proverbs, Solomon addresses the fundamental lesson in education: the fear of the Lord. Therefore, the fear of the Lord is the starting point for bringing one's life into harmony with the truth and wisdom of God.

From this union a child would come into the world to be nurtured and brought up in the fear of the Lord. The wise father who walks in the fear of the Lord knows the heart of God and his law (Exodus 34:6-7). Instead of enjoying the shepherd's protection, he is caught in the crosshairs of God's judgment on the nation.

Although the Father "hit," "wounded," and "wounded" the Son, he felt no emotional anger toward the person of the Son. I mention these lessons because I believe that taking these lessons earlier contributed to the completion of the project. We discussed God's design for the family, the breakup of the family, and the temptation of mobs (Proverbs 1:7-19).

These goals served to help develop, implement and measure the impact of the ministry's research project. The first aim was to assess the current knowledge of the impact of relational brokenness experienced by the participants. Several of the men in the photo have served or continue to serve through MOV.
