In fact, the role of the church in the broadcasting process has steadily declined over the past few decades. There is much debate in the American church today about the need for gospel fellowship in the life of the church and pastoral care for the individuals within them. I simply encourage a plan for churches to direct and care as they did in the origins of the church, as seen in the New Testament, regardless of the presence or absence of an agency.

This has been the basis for much of the recent conversation about sending and ministry in the sending church. In the spirit of the Church of Antioch and in the rich tradition of churches that sent and cared well, this research will begin. While this tool is useful, it is an important reminder of the challenges facing the sending church.

The Church will also be growing in understanding the needs of MKs and their families while still in the field. Although not as glamorous as sending, taking responsibility for receiving messengers is an important part of the process. They represent just two examples of people whose efforts helped to clarify the need for member care.

This survey of the New Testament begins with a look at the nurturing community fostered by the church of Antioch. The report of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and Barnabas was sent to Antioch. First, it was a process that involved the whole church and not just a few or a committee.

The importance of the church in Antioch cannot be overstated in relation to Paul and Barnabas. For each of these churches, an interview was conducted with someone from the church's paid missions staff. They prepare for various situations that may arise by having trained member care professionals in church leadership.

Garth says he has seen the church excel in the areas of conflict resolution because of the professionals God has brought into their church. This emphasis on reactive care places a burden on the church to send through agencies with stronger member care plans so that less is required of the church. Many churches have put most of the burden and emotion into sending the agency.

Each church keeps their sent connections to the life of the church in two-way communication.

CONCLUSION

The call of God's Spirit and the sending nature of the Trinity are enough to guide these families and keep them in the field. An unmarried man cares about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. And an unmarried or engaged woman cares about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit.

Oswald Chambers wrote, “Prayer does not prepare us for the greatest works—prayer is the greatest work.”5 No single recommendation is more important than a plan for deep and meaningful prayer on the part of the sending church. For most churches, Neal Pirolo writes, “The time of re-entry into the life of a missionary remains veiled. This is one of the few places in Jesus' ministry where He did not perform miracles.

An equally daunting question is how the average believer here at The Church in Brook Hills, who has not been led by God to plant his/her life long term in a different context, can still obey the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus. An A-Team consists of a group of at least 5 members from The Church in Brook Hills who already know the GOERs and are fully committed to the ministry. You can ask members of your A-Team volunteer to pray at home so that someone prays every day of the week.

When going, the goal should be to serve even overseas partners and to gain a better understanding of the people and the mission. If it is not possible to send a short-term team, a private visit by one or two members of the A Team/small group partners can be made to encourage and share resources with GOERS. As the GOER's departure date approaches, you help with packing, moving, shopping and/or babysitting while the parents take care of the above.
