ABSTRACT
Memorizing the Quran is an activity that can increase our piety and closeness to God and is a practice that we will get in Heaven later.
There are various ways that can be done to maintain the memorization of the Quran by using appropriate techniques and methods. Techniques and methods are a way that is done to produce something desired, as well as memorizing the Koran requires appropriate techniques and methods so that our memorization is maintained. Memorizing the Quran is not an easy thing, if not accompanied by intention and perseverance in memorizing. Therefore, there are various techniques and methods used by teachers at the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House in improving the memorization of the students who study there. The research method used by researchers is a descriptive qualitative approach by conducting interviews with teachers, parents and students of the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between techniques and methods in memorizing the Quran at the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House. The technique used so that the students' memorization is maintained is by making a list of verses or letters that have been memorized for the students and then given a check mark that they have deposited the verse. The method that is definitely used is the murajah method or repeating the students' memorization. The results of this study indicate that the age of the students at the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House is different, and the methods and techniques used are also different depending on each student. Facilities and infrastructure in supporting tahfizh activities there are very adequate

INTRODUCTION
The holy book of Muslims is the Quran (Rajagede & Hastuti, 2021). The Quran is a revelation given by Allah to the prophet Muhammad Saw (S. Anwar et al., 2021). It was through memorization that the prophet Muhammad received the revelation of the Quran (Wijaya et al., 2021). The Quran is the main source for Muslims, as caliphs on earth, which is a guide in running life in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Some opinions say the law of memorizing the Quran is fardhu kifayah (K. Anwar, 2018).
Allah emphasizes that by clinging to the Koran, we will achieve victory in this world and in the hereafter. But many at this time we see that there are still many Muslims who do not make the Koran a guide to life and rarely take the time to read and memorize the Koran itself. And we still find a handful of people who are not fluent in reading the Koran. This is very concerning because we both know that our country, Indonesia, the majority of its population is Muslim. Whereas the Al-Quran is a guide to life for Muslims. The Quran is an important factor in the world of Islamic education (Afifah &
Suriansyah, 2019). The activities of reading, writing, memorizing and understanding the content of the Koran should have been instilled from an early age. At this early age, the absorption and memory of children is very fast in capturing something that we teach.
Factors that become supporters in memorizing the Quran are psychological factors, health factors, intelligence factors, and motivational factors in memorizing the Quran (Rahmi, 2019). One of the greatness of Allah is to create everything that is in us (Arifin, 2022). The cultivation of attitudinal values, knowledge and interests which is the initial stage of learning and exploring potential for children. Education is the most important thing for parents for their children (Pudjiati et al., 2022). Early childhood is the initial period which can be used to instill Islamic religious teachings, through education and treatment from parents, family, teachers and the surrounding environment. Early childhood can be taught such as the pillars of faith, the pillars of Islam, the recitation and understanding of the two creeds, the recitation and movement of prayers, prayers, listening and teaching how to read and write the Koran and how to practice the Koran in everyday life. The Quran is an important factor that is highly recommended to be taught to children (Akhmar et al., 2021).
Basically, in memorizing the Quran, it is very necessary and requires principles that are in accordance with the conditions of students in learning activities, including paying attention to the development process, needs, interests and characteristics of students. Learning is carried out gradually, continuously and is habituation for students.
Learning activities are active, creative, interactive, effective and fun for students (Mulyani et al., 2018). The learning process is learner-centered. It is all very necessary to do so that students like and enjoy the activities of studying, reading and memorizing the Koran without feeling bored and bored. For example, the introduction of the shape of the hijaiyah letters and the pronunciation of the hijaiyah letters. All of that must be done in accordance with stage by stage techniques and methods that are in accordance
with the characteristics of the learners. Because we both know that each child has their own characteristics in memorizing the Koran. Therefore, it is important for educators and parents to encourage and motivate children in memorizing the Quran. Children experience very rapid development and growth (Azizah et al., 2021). For parents at home, health, nutrition, care and protection for the child, as well as reducing or limiting children in playing, especially at this time we encounter many children who are dependent because they are addicted to playing gadgets. Parents, teachers and society today need to provide guidance and direction regarding religious knowledge based on the Quran in it. For example, we direct about the praiseworthy actions or behaviors that we can emulate from our Prophet, namely the Prophet Muhammad Saw and the companions of the Prophet such as Abu Bakar Ash Shiddiq, Umar Bin Khattab, Uthman bin Affan, Ali bin Abi Talib and other Islamic figures that we teach for example through stories or stories and can also be through exemplary films or videos.
The Quran is very easy to learn if accompanied by a strong intention and determination in it, as well as support from parents, family, society and the surrounding environment that can provide strong motivation for us to memorize the Quran. The Quran is the most important part of our lives. Peers also do not escape the influence so that we love the Quran or vice versa because when we are surrounded by people who are diligent and love reading the Quran, then sooner or later we will also be affected and then love and make the Quran our necessity in everyday life. Studying the Quran is not only reading it or memorizing it, but also understanding the content in it (Supriono &
Rusdiani, 2019). Menghafal Al Quran dapat membuat energy positif bagi tubuh kita (Ishak et al., 2021). By memorizing the Quran, it can improve the performance of the left brain and right brain to be balanced (Albi et al., 2020). One of the miracles of the Quran is that since it was first revealed on the night of Ramadan 17, until now the Quran has maintained its authenticity and has not changed at all. The Quran is the first and main source of guidance for all Islamic teachings. At the time of the Prophet Muhammad Saw, most of the Arabs experienced illiteracy, the people there at that time still did not recognize paper as a writing tool as it is today. Therefore, every time the Prophet Muhammad Saw received a revelation, he always memorized it, then the Prophet Muhammad Saw conveyed it to the companions and then asked to memorize the verse and after that it was written on stones, palm fronds, animal skins and any object that could be used to write the verse (Supriono & Rusdiani, 2019). Tahfizh is the activity of memorizing the Quran (Islam et al., 2020). A pleasant, comfortable, peaceful and peaceful learning situation will be an attraction for the child in participating in learning. A learning process that runs well and smoothly will have a positive influence on child development. If things do not go well, the child will feel uncomfortable in the learning process, for example, such as feeling anxious, afraid and so on so that the learning process does not run optimally (Mulyani et al., 2018).
One of the religious activities is Tahfizh Al Quran (Ardi, 2021). Tahfizh activities have many techniques and methods in each tahfizh house or place that holds tahfizh activities. Formal, non-formal and private institutions have included tahfizh programs
there at this time (Saragih et al., 2021). There are those who set the speed to finish the Quran immediately and those who set the fluency in memorizing. The purpose of this method is the same, but the activities are different. This is different because of the method used by educators in teaching (Nadaa, 2021). In memorizing the Quran, you can use many methods (Hidayah et al., 2019). Repeating memorization is one way to memorize the Quran, which is also called murajaah (Rajagede et al., 2021). Many of us have seen lately that parents really want their children to participate in Quran memorization activities (Fairuzillah & Listiana, 2021). Tahfizh activities have become an activity in every educational institution, be it formal educational institutions such as schools or non-formal educational institutions such as tahfizh houses and so on. Both of these educational institutions have various techniques, methods, and strategies used in tahfizh activities themselves. As well as the abilities that each child or student has are different, well this is a factor for educators in order to achieve tahfizh activities towards success for children or students who take part in tahfizh activities (Nadaa, 2021).
Murajaah is a process that must be followed by children or tahfizh students. The techniques and ways of memorizing each child are different depending on their respective abilities. Effective methods and techniques are needed so that memorization is not lost or forgotten (Ismail et al., 2021). For example, such as reading repeatedly, giving a mark at the beginning of the verse, there are also those who memorize the verse first, after which the verse is written in the memorized book. By learning, it will increase knowledge in a better direction (Akmal, 2021). This is a challenge for teachers in teaching each child, if it can be controlled by tahfizh institutions, learning activities will become more exciting, fun in improving the memorization of children or students.
And with this we can practice the Quran in everyday life (Nadaa, 2021).
Memorizing the Quran is an activity carried out with the hope of memorizing the verses contained in the Quran so that it can recite them without seeing the Quran itself (S. Anwar et al., 2021). To keep the Quran from being falsified or altered the way we can do is by memorizing the Quran or Tahfizh Al Quran (Thontawi et al., 2022).
Reading the Quran is a very noble practice (Aisyah & Sofiah, 2021). The word of Allah in Surah Al Hijr which means "We really keep it". This means that Allah commands his servants to maintain the integrity of the Quran, one of the ways we can do so that the integrity of the Quran is maintained is by memorizing the Quran. But memorizing the Quran is not something easy if there is no strong intention from within our hearts.
Everything we learn is discussed in the Quran. (Tayyarinejad et al., 2020). If we memorize the Quran with the intention of Allah, then Allah will make it easier, and vice versa. And also need the right and suitable method in memorizing the Quran (S. Anwar et al., 2021). Teachers or educators are an important factor in learning activities followed by children (Taufik et al., 2021). As an educator, it is necessary to pay attention to the techniques, methods and ways of teaching that are applied to run effectively so that students' memorization is successful and can continue to increase their memorization. We both know so many techniques. Methods and ways of memorizing that can be applied, but the point is the same, namely so that children are
able to learn, memorize and practice the Quran itself. Nowadays there are so many methods that can make it easier for individuals to memorize the Quran, for example the Tikrar method, the Yadain method and other methods (Akhmar et al., 2021). The golden age is a period experienced by children or early childhood. This is because everything that is captured by children such as information or what they see will be quickly captured by the child's senses. Children have intelligence and can continue to develop optimally with the support of the environment around the child (Sahlini & Ismaniar, 2020). Supporting factors from family and parents are also important to achieve success for children (Mustakim et al., 2021).
One of the manifestations of our love for the Quran is to halal the verses in the Quran (Nadaa, 2021). Memorizing the Quran is done to develop religious abilities in children. Many educational institutions have come up with programs to teach the Quran, for example tahfizh activities such as tahfiz houses, Quran houses and other similar programs (Sahlini & Ismaniar, 2020). Memorizing the Quran can make us focused and disciplined and many more-benefits that we get (Pasaribu, 2019). The activity of memorizing the Quran can improve brain performance, which is explained in Ngalim Purwanto's book in Educational Psychology he says that when brain cells work continuously and actively it will become stronger. Tahfizh Al Quran is an Islamic education that has the goal that by studying the Al Quran can bring influence to human life as creatures on earth. As well as social creatures who apply Islamic teachings to expect the pleasure of Allah Saw (Doyok, 2021). Quran memorization education or tahfiz continues to grow rapidly among the community. The process of remembering is called memorization (Adiwijayanti et al., 2019). Tahfizh Al Quran is the use of the tongue in reading Al Quran so that it can be stored in the memory and mind, after that it enters the heart, then we practice and apply it in everyday life (Bisri & Abdillah, 2018).
The word of Allah in Surah Al Ankabut verse 49 which means "in fact, the Quran is the verses that are evident in the chests of those who are given knowledge and no one denies Our verses except those who are unjust". By reading, memorizing and applying the contents of the Quran can make our hearts become about and peaceful in doing all activities.
In a story during the time of the Prophet Muhammad, the angel Gabriel delivered a revelation from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad, namely the Quran in the cave of Hiro. The Quran is the greatest miracle of the Prophet Muhammad (Hasanah, 2021).
The first revelation of the Prophet Muhammad was Surah al-Alaq verses 1-5 where at that time the angel Jibril asked the Prophet Muhammad Saw to read the words conveyed by the angel Jibril. The talaqqi method is a method taught by the angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad Saw, and this method was also taught by the apostleullah to his companions. Reading and memorizing the Quran is an act of worship (Anita et al., 2021). Through memorization the Prophet Muhammad received and taught the Quran, and it was also done by the companions and understood the meaning of the Quran in accordance with the content contained in the Quran (Wijaya et al., 2021). The talaqqi method is a method that is used by us meeting directly with the teacher and students,
and the teacher can immediately recognize the attitude of the students, as well as making it easier to monitor and assess student learning outcomes directly at that time.
The main task of the teacher or educator is to carry out learning, creating conducive learning conditions that can increase student interest and motivation in the learning process. Important aspects that occur in learning are intellectual, emotional, spiritual experiences, learning outcomes and student behavior. And also planning learning and supervising learning activities (Doyok, 2021). There are so many ways to get an education in our country (Sahlini & Ismaniar, 2020). So many educational institutions both formal and informal intensify tahfizh activities, one of which is the Tahfidz Ar- Rifaie Tarakan House. This institution guides, nurtures, and supports students or santri to feel love for the Quran through learning tahfizh Al Quran. Through this learning, educators can carry out the learning process by teaching religious education for students, as well as developing the creativity of students in interacting with their peers.
With the planning, implementation, assessment and techniques and methods in tahfizh activities can increase the success rate of students (Hastini & Maslamah, 2021). As well as the support of facilities and infrastructure to support teaching and learning activities (Jimba, 2021).
Researchers raised a topic entitled "Correlation between Techniques and Methods in Memorizing the Quran" from this title, the problem formulation of this study can be formulated, namely about the technique of memorizing the Quran in the Tahfidz Ar- Rifaie Tarakan House, the method of memorizing the Quran in the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House, the benefits obtained in memorizing the Quran. Based on the above background, the purpose of this study is to find out the technique of memorizing the Quran in the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House, to find out the method of memorizing the Quran in the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House, to find out the benefits obtained in memorizing the Quran. The main thing in this Tahfiz activity is to emphasize the techniques and methods of memorizing the Koran which will produce the expected and desired results which in the future the students will get used to memorizing the Koran and practicing it in their daily lives. A good tahfizh house should have a management system in each tahfizh program, such as time management, environmental factors and good educators for the tahfizh house itself. And in teaching, character values are also taught to students (Salim et al., 2021). Setting the time, a comfortable place for students, and adequate facilities and infrastructure for the smooth running of tahfizh activities must be considered by the manager of the tahfizh house itself. And also for educators or teachers there who are commonly called Ustaz / Ustazah so that they are experienced or professional in their fields (Wijaya et al., 2021). From this explanation, the researcher will examine more deeply the correlation between the techniques and methods of memorizing the Quran at the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House.
The benefits of this research are divided into two, namely the first theoretically this research is expected to be theoretical reference material related to the correlation between techniques and methods in memorizing the Quran and also the results of this study can be used as reference material for other researchers who want to study the
correlation between techniques and methods in memorizing the Quran. From a practical point of view for the leaders of tahfizh houses, the results of this study are expected to be able to contribute to improving techniques and methods in memorizing the Quran.
For teachers, this research is expected to provide input so that teachers can be even better at applying techniques and methods in memorizing the Quran. For students or students can improve achievement and be more active in memorizing the Quran, as well as increasing motivation, interest, and practicing the Quran in everyday life. For other researchers, the results of this study can be used as a reference source or source of information regarding the correlation between techniques and methods in memorizing the Quran. The benefits for the researchers themselves are that they can become experience and skills in compiling articles and add to the insight and experience of researchers.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
The method in this research uses a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is defined as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people observed by researchers. Qualitative research is intended to describe and analyze phenomena, events, activities, attitudes, perceptions and thoughts of individuals or groups. This type of research is descriptive research, namely data presented according to the language and perspective of the research subject. This research was conducted at Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House. The research time was carried out in May 2022. The key instrument in this research is the researcher himself.
But in its implementation, the researcher uses tools such as interview guidelines, smartphones and documentation. The data source is the subject from which the data is obtained. Informants in this study were teachers, students and parents of students. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. An interview is a conversation conducted by two or more people between the interviewee and the interviewer to obtain information. Interviews are used to obtain information from informants. The way that will be done during the research is to build closeness with the informants. The types of interviews are divided into two, namely structured interviews and unstructured interviews. The interview technique in this research is an unstructured interview, which is referred to as an open interview, qualitative interview, intensive interview or in-depth interview.
The method used during observation is that the researcher goes directly to the field to observe things related to activities, places, spaces, times, objects, goals and so on related to the research. The type of observation carried out is participatory observation in which the researcher establishes a deep closeness with the research informants. Documentation studies are used to obtain data in the form of notes, minutes, recordings, videos or photos related to research on the correlation between techniques and methods in memorizing the Quran at Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House. Data analysis techniques in qualitative research are carried out at the pre-field stage, salaam in the field, and after data collection. Pre-field data analysis is carried out on data
obtained through grand-tour-observation. However, in general, qualitative data analysis is mostly carried out in conjunction with data collection in the field, not after the data is collected. Data analysis techniques in the field that are widely used are the Miles and Huberman model and the Spradley Model. Miles and Huberman's data analysis includes a three-stage process, namely data reduction (data reduction), data disply (data presentation), and conclusion/verification (conclusion drawing and data verification).
While Spadley's model analysis is carried out sequentially through a four-stage process, namely domain analysis, taxonomy analysis, componential analysis, and cultural theme analysis. Domain analysis was conducted after obtaining data based on grand-tour and mini-tour questions. The next analysis, namely taxonomic analysis, was carried out to determine the focus of the research, where researchers collected data by asking mini- tour questions. Componential analysis was carried out at the selection stage where the questions asked were structural questions. Furthermore, cultural theme analysis was carried out to find out the meaning of an event according to the social situation that occurred at the time of the research.
RESULT AND DISCUSSION
Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House is located in Nagari Tabek Patah, Salimpaung District, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra Province. Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House was founded in 2017, the number of students of Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House is approximately 30 students, each of whom has a different age. The Tahfidz Ar- Rifaie Tarakan House has 5 educators, the Ustadz and Ustadzah of the Tahfidz Ar- Rifaie Tarakan House come from various levels of education, starting from the college level, the Senior High School level, and some are married. This is not an obstacle because the most important thing is that they can teach the Quran in accordance with Tajweed and the correct procedure according to applicable regulations. The state of the facilities and infrastructure of the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House is very adequate where when the researchers made observations or saw the teaching and learning situation in the tahfizh house the atmosphere of teaching and learning was very conducive and comfortable. It can be seen in terms of buildings that are still good and sturdy, learning rooms that are comfortable, clean and neatly organized, and the tables used by students are made as comfortable as possible. And also the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House uses uniforms for its students. Teaching and learning activities or tahfiz activities at the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House are carried out four times a week.
Table 1. Schedule of Tahfizh activities at Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House
No Days Time
1 Thursday 14.00-17.00 WIB
2 Friday 14.00-17.00 WIB
3 Saturday 14.00-17.00 WIB
4 Sunday 07.00-10.00 WIB
The implementation of tahfizh activities is carried out in groups, by dividing by age level, as well as the level of memorization of the students in the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House. The techniques and methods that must be used by each tahfizh institution are murajaah or repeating memorization. At the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House, the students have different ages, so the techniques and methods used are different too. For example, in toddlers who are around 4-5 years old, the method used is the talaqqi method, in which students first listen to the reading from the teacher, then after that the students repeat it until they are fluent and can memorize the verse. Other students also use the method of reading Al Quran verses together, after the verse that is read has been memorized and fluent, then it is deposited or recited to the teacher.
The implementation of Tahfizh activities at Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House includes:
1. The teacher checks the condition and concentration of the students so that they are ready to start the tahfizh activity.
2. The teacher and students pray together before and after the tahfizh activity.
3. The teacher checks the attendance of the students
4. The teacher and the students together memorize the previous memorization so as not to forget and strengthen the memorization
5. The students continue the next memorization in accordance with the previous memorization
In carrying out the life of Muslims, it is definitely inseparable from the Quran.
With the Quran, it can guide all our affairs and our mindset (Basir et al., 2022). The problems and solutions that we experience have been guaranteed by Allah in the Quran as a guide for humans, as Muslims we should make the Quran a necessity, for example by reading the contents of the Quran, studying the contents of the Quran and so on.
Memorizing the Quran is a very noble activity and it can also be our practice in the hereafter (Supriono & Rusdiani, 2019). The guideline for Muslims is the Quran, by reading, memorizing and practicing the Quran can improve the values, morals and religion learned from an early age. And it can also be a habit that children worship and behave according to the teachings of Islam in carrying out life. Improving religious abilities can be carried out by memorizing the Quran. Formal and non-formal institutions establish activities about Tahfizh Al Quran, for example, tafizh houses, Al Quran houses, playgroups and other institutions where there are focused tahfizh activities (Sahlini & Ismaniar, 2020). Strong motivation will lead to the desire to continue memorizing the Quran (Latipah, 2022). At this time we can see in the community the need to memorize the Quran is getting higher. It can be seen that many parents include or send their children to educational institutions where they study Tahfizh Al Quran. With the hope that children will become Hafizh Al Quran, memorizing the Quran is not only intended for children but parents are also encouraged to memorize the Quran. However, there are many people who say that they do not have time to read and memorize the Quran because they are busy, even though one word we read gets rewarded by Allah Saw (Rusadi, 2020). There are many techniques and methods that can be used in memorizing the Quran. The important thing that can be
done to maximize memorization is to hone the ability to understand each verse.
(Burhanuddin et al., 2021).
Techniques that can be done in memorizing the Quran are:
a. Straighten the intention of memorization because of Allah Saw.
b. Being sincere for the sake of Allah c. Expecting the pleasure of both parents
d. Murajaah or repeating memorization so that it is not lost
e. Gathering with an environment that provides positive energy for us, for example gathering with friends who memorize the Quran
f. Choosing a method that suits us or a suitable method so that it is smooth in memorizing the Quran
g. Improving reading and understanding the laws of tajweed h. Istiqamah
Memorizing the Quran there are many methods that can be used so that the memorization process can be achieved quickly, some methods of memorizing the Quran include:Metode Klasik
1. Talqin Method
The talqin method is a method in which the teacher reads one verse of the Quran, after which it is repeated by the students, repeatedly until the reading is correct and memorized by the students. Patience and a lot of time are needed in this method.
2. Talaqqi Method
The talaqqi method is a method in which students recite their memorization to the teacher without looking at the Quran. The advantage of this talaqqi method is that students who have not mastered the laws of tajweed and do not recognize letters, will later understand because of the reading recommended by the teacher. While the weakness of the talaqqi method is that students can memorize the Quran but they do not know or do not know the letters and laws of the Quranic recitation they recite.
3. Muraja'ah Method
The muraja'ah method is a method of repeating our memorization until later our memorization becomes not easily lost. If muraja'ah is rarely done or not done, memorizing the Quran will be easily lost. Now what is needed is that we take the time to memorize our memorization. By memuraja'ah we will feel the benefits ourselves such as strengthening the memorization of the Quran, improving brain work, familiarizing the tongue in pronouncing the verses of the Quran and also strengthening istiqolah on ourselves.
a. Modern Methods
The modern method is the method used at this time, for example by listening to murattal with audio or audio visual, for example through a cellphone. It can also use our own voice recordings, by listening repeatedly.
b. Methods of memorizing the Quran according to the Quran 1. Talaqqi method
2. Talqin method
3. Reading the Quran with tartil or slowly.
c. Quran memorization method according to A. W. Al Hafizh in (Rahmi, 2019) is:
1. Wahdah Method
The wahdah method is a memorization method in which the verse of the Quran to be memorized repeatedly, until the verse is memorized and after that proceed to the next verse.
2. Kitabah method
The Kitabah method is writing in this method we write the verse of the Qur'an to be memorized on a paper or book, after that reading the reading of the verse until it is fluent until memorized.
3. Sima' Method
The sima' method is listening to this method of memorizing Quranic verses through listening to the recitation of the Quran. The sima' method is very suitable for memorizers who have high memory. In this sima' method can use two ways, namely through listening to the reading of the educator or teacher, and the second can be through sound recording. This can be done repeatedly.
4. Combined Method
The combined method is combining the wahdah method with the kitabah method.
5. The method by memorizing long verses, the method is to cut parts of the long verse to memorize.
The method of memorizing the Quran according to Mukhlisoh Zawawie in (Supriono & Rusdiani, 2019) Among them:
a. Self-memorization method
The method of memorizing alone is done by the individual according to his own circumstances without looking at the methods of others.
b. Paired memorization method
The paired method is carried out by two Quran memorizers who are carried out together. One partner listens to the reading and the other partner deposits his memorization.
c. Memorizing with the help of a digital Quran
The digital Al Quran method is a method that utilizes digital media which contains recordings of Al Quran verses there, and we can also choose what verse we will look for, and can listen to the verse repeatedly until memorized.
d. Memorization method with a recording device
This method is done by recording our own voice while reading the Quran, after which we follow the recitation of the verse repeatedly until we memorize the verse.
e. Memorization method by writing
This method is usually used in children who are still young, but can already read and write Quran verses.
In memorizing the Quran, students have their own abilities and levels, as for the levels as follows:
a. Pre Tahsin Level
The pre tahsin level is students who are still unable to read the Quran in accordance with tajweed in reading the Quran. What is expected at this level is that the students can improve their reading of the Quran and pay attention to the reading of the Quran in accordance with the laws of tajweed. The method used at this level is the Iq'ra method. In addition to being asked to improve their reading, the students are also trained to memorize short chapters. Now this method of memorizing short chapters is called the ummi method.
b. Tahsin Level
The tahsin level is a group devoted to students who have been able to read the Quran but there are still some mistakes in reading the Quran. The mistakes of the students can be categorized as mistakes that are still considered mild. At this level the students have been given a target in memorizing the Quran, but the targeted memorization is not too much. The memorization target for students is 1 maqtha or in the tikrar method, one maqtha is 3 to 5 verses of the Quran recited by the students.
c. Tahfiz Level
Tahfiz level is a group or class specifically for students who are able to read the Quran properly and correctly and the tajweed law is correct. Now the method used for this level is the tikrar method, which is a method used by students, preparing their memorization optimally which will later be submitted to Ustaz or Uztazh.
Uthman bin Affan narrated that the Prophet said: "the best of you are those who learn and teach the Quran". A narration by Abdullah bin Mas'ud that the Prophet said:
"Whoever recites even one letter from the Book of Allah earns one good deed, and that one good deed is multiplied tenfold. I did not say that alif lam mim counts as one letter, but that alif counts as one letter, lam as one letter and mim as one letter." (H.R At Tirmizi). Humans do not escape the word forget, because forgetting is something that must be experienced by every human being. Likewise, in memorizing the Quran, it is not uncommon for people to forget their memorization. Therefore, it is very necessary to do a way so that memorization is maintained and not lost in thought. One way that can be done is by repeating memorization. There are two ways of repeating memorization that can be done, namely the first by repeating in the heart, this technique or method is done without making a sound, this method is a method used by scholars in the past, which was used to maintain their memorization so as not to forget. The second method is by pronunciation, this method can be used to maintain memorization. and can train the tongue, mouth and hearing. By making a sound also adds enthusiasm and can immediately correct if there are pronunciation errors. Repeating memorization to educators or teachers is a way to maintain and strengthen our memorization of the Quran. The more often it is read and repeated, the stronger it will be stored in memory.
And the success of a Quran memorizer does not escape the support of parents and teachers who teach where children learn (Orba Manullang, 2021).
Allah SWT created everything in this world there must be benefits behind it all, the benefits that can be felt in memorizing the Quran (K. Anwar, 2018) Among them:
a. Memorizing the Quran if accompanied by sincerity and good deeds, in this world and in the hereafter we will get victory on the side of Allah Saw.
b. The more we study and memorize the Quran, the more we get wise words because in the Quran there are so many lessons that we can learn there.
c. Verses about faith, charity, knowledge and others are all explained in the Quran.
d. Guidance for Muslims
e. Maintain the authenticity of the Quran f. Increase intelligence
g. Improves concentration
h. Hafizh Al Quran or memorizer of Al Quran can give a crown to his parents in heaven
i. Allah facilitates our every business
j. One letter of the Quran that we read will be rewarded by Allah.
k. In a hadith from Ali Bin Abi Talib r.a he explained that the memorizer of the Quran has the right to provide intercession or help to ten members of his family.
Memorizing the Quran is highly emphasized sincerity and seriousness, the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House does not focus on one technique and method in tahfizh activities, all of that is left to the students who want what techniques and methods are used in memorizing, the most important thing is that it is easy, comfortable and can smoothly memorize the Quran. Because the ability of each student is different and has its characteristics, each murajaah method must be used because repeating memorization can improve our memorization so that it is not easily lost. Childhood is a period that can be used to foster religious values, and ask children, one of which is by memorizing the Quran (Mulyani et al., 2018). Studying the Quran can foster character education for children (Umar Jaeni et al., 2020). Teachers and parents are expected to work together in building children's character, parents do not only rely on the process to occur only in the place where children learn, parental support is also important in learning the Quran (Sitorus & Yasir, 2022).
Figure 1. Tahfizh activity
CONCLUSION
Based on the results of research conducted by researchers that the use of techniques and methods in memorizing the Quran is very effective to use, as a support for the smooth teaching and learning process at the Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House.
Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House does not focus on one technique or method in tahfizh activities, all of that is left to each student, because we both know that each individual has their own characteristics and ways of memorizing the Quran. But for those who are
still toddlers who are 5 years old, they are still guided by educators using the Talaqqi method, namely by listening to the teacher's reading first after that the students repeat the teacher's reading until they are fluent and memorize the verses that have been read by the teacher. By actively memorizing the Quran and memorizing memorization will make ourselves peaceful and peaceful, always feel close to Allah Saw. And by understanding the content in the Quran makes us understand that everything is explained in the Quran. And also so many benefits that we get from practicing the Quran which is the word of the Prophet Muhammad Saw that even one letter that we read from the Quran gets one good thing on the side of Allah Saw let alone by reading more than one letter, so good Allah to us.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The researcher would like to thank Mr. / Mrs. Teacher as the teacher of Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House who has given permission and ease of research. Hopefully this research can be useful both for Tahfidz Ar-Rifaie Tarakan House as well as all parties who can access the results of this research.
