This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was conducted to describe the use of HTML5 content package (H5P) to improve the reading comprehension of first grade students in Aliyah Swasta Manduamas Madrasas. The results of this study show that creating HTML5 package (H5P) content for teaching reading is effective and can help students improve their reading comprehension. The average score of the pre-examination students was 20.88, while the average score of the students after the first-level exam was 61.32 and the second-level post-exam was 80.88.
From these results, it can be concluded that teaching reading with HTML5 content (H5P) is effective and can improve students' reading comprehension. INTRODUCTION

- The Formulation of The Problems
- The Objective of the Research
- The Significance of the Study
Azmy (2020), claims that poor reading comprehension among Indonesian secondary students occurs due to lack of vocabulary, learning support and students' reading motivation. Precisely where the factors influencing low student reading comprehension cannot be separated from the students' influence on the learning process, this is based on students' enthusiasm for learning, students' critical thinking, learning methods used, etc. . This problem can also be seen in Abbas, (2021), Reading comprehension as related to two main factors, internal and external factors.
Based on the problem, the teacher should have an interesting strategy in teaching reading so that students can understand the content of the reading they read and relate it to everyday life so that students can understand the real meaning of the can understand content of the reading. This is also the reason why the researcher chose to create H5P content to improve students' reading comprehension. Based on the problems mentioned above, the researcher is interested in conducting classroom action research (CAR) with the title Creating HTML5 Package (H5P) Content for EFL: Enhancing Students Reading Comprehension.
The purpose of this study was focused on reading comprehension and limited to students' reading comprehension ability. To improve students' reading comprehension, interest, critical thinking and motivation to learn English, especially students' reading comprehension.

Handayani et al., (2020) Reading comprehension is a process of interaction between the characteristics of the text, the reader and the reading context. Reading comprehension is an interactive process between the text and the previous reader's background knowledge. These microskills can be used by teachers as a strategy to overcome difficulties in students' reading comprehension.
However, they are useful for students who want to test their knowledge. b) Some content types have limited customization and formatting options (e.g. the Accordion and the Image Hotspot), c) H5P is not a video recording tool. The hypothesis in this study is that reading instruction using H5P Content is effective in improving students' reading comprehension. Thesis from 2019, entitled: “The implementation of thematic teaching in activities to improve students' reading skills”.
A descriptive qualitative and quantitative design was used for this research. The subjects of the research were all students of VIII c, which consisted of 26 students. This means that teaching reading comprehension influenced students' motivation and ultimately influenced students.

In this action, the researcher remains as an observer, while the teacher remains in the teaching and learning process. The second meeting in the first cycle was held on Friday, May students participated in this meeting. At the end of the meeting in cycle I, the researcher gave a test like the pre-test.
Based on the result, it was found that the students made significant improvement in this cycle than in the first cycle before. During the meeting in cycle II, the researcher told the students about mistakes made in the pretest and cycle I. H5P Content of activities to improve reading skills can also be derived from the average of students' scores on the first competency test to and with the third competency test.
In the third proficiency test, there were thirty-four students (100%) who scored up to 65, which means that all students can pass the standard minimum score (SMC). H5P content is used to improve students' reading comprehension in the learning process to help students understand reading texts, especially narrative texts, which work to train students' reading comprehension.
RESEARCH RESULT AND DISCUSSION
Data Analysis
This research was carried out in a class consisting of 34 students during the cycles of Classroom Action Research. Before conducting the first cycle, the researcher conducted a pre-cycle to measure the student's achievement in reading the narrative text.
Research Result
- Pre-Cycle
- Cycle I
- Cycle II
Based on the sum of the results of the assessment rubric created when assessing essay questions, where there were 3 essay questions in the preliminary cycle, a student score of 100% was achieved without passing. In the planning cycle, the activities I performed included preparing lesson plans, observation sheets, interview guides, and testing student learning outcomes using formative tests (essays). The implementation of the first meeting was carried out by researchers using H5P content, while the second meeting was given a test of students' learning skills in Cycle I.
The researcher instructed the students to provide 1 sheet of paper as an answer sheet for the test shown in the H5P content and instructed the students to work on the questions for 35 minutes, which consisted of 3 questions in the form of essay tests. From the data, it can be shown that the average score for the students in cycle I was 61.32. In planning cycle II, activities carried out included preparing lesson plans, observation sheets, interview guides and testing student learning outcomes using formative tests (essays).
Implementation of the first meeting was carried out by researchers using H5P content, while the second meeting was given a test of students' learning abilities in cycle II. From the data it can be shown that the average student score in Cycle II was 80.88. During cycle II the researcher also collected the scoring items as in the pre-test and cycle I, there was also improvement in the pre-test after cycle I.
This can be shown from the different scores between the pretest and the posttest in Cycle I. The mean in the third competency test was the highest among the other tests. The results of the researchers' observations of the English subject in Class X Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Manduamas for the academic year 2022-2023.
Diagram Reading results of students in percentage From the diagram above, we can conclude that there was an improvement in each cycle, the result of 65 in the pretest was 0 students or 0%, in the first cycle 18 students or 52.94% and in the second cycle. degree, there were 34 students or 100%. The table above describes that in the pre-examination the minimum score was 10, students were given 10 for the lowest score and 60 for the highest score. Based on learning activities using H5P content, which were conducted in the form of interviews with several students as samples in the classroom, it was found that after implementing learning with H5P content, students really understood and understood the learning material offered by the teacher, because it really caught the students' interest and could improve their critical thinking.
