Recommendation: Major Revision Comments:

I am glad to make assessment about this creative study and found it informative. The article entitled, “Religious Compensatory Consumption in Islamic Context: The Mediating Roles of Religious Social Control and Religious Guilt."

I believe the authors have examined an interesting research topic. This study focused on exploring the less

investigated motivational factors of religious compensatory consumption, such as religious hypocrisy, religious, social control, and religious guilt. This study executed an online questionnaire to receive the desired data. The investigators used purposive sampling and collected data of 238 Muslim respondents. The study incorporated the PLS-SEM technique via ADANCO software to draw the study results. It is a very good study, which presents an interesting topic.

However, I suggest minor corrections before publication. First of all, write high quality abstract as it face of the study.

In the abstract, the first heading is “”Purpose”, please write it in high quality and expand few lines. It’s too short and simple. I suggest the authors to improve literature related to the topic enhance the quality of the study. The suggested studies are;
