Fi'il is an intentional statement that indicates meaning for itself with adverb of time.19 Syaikh Musthofa al-Gholayani said in his book that fi'il is a word that indicates meaning for itself with adverb of time. 20 From this definition it can be deduced that fi‘il is an intensional statement or word indicates meaning for itself with adverb of time. The form of the verb (fi'il) will help the Arabic root system to show meaning itself.

Jane Wightwick and Mahmoud Ghaafar said in their book that there are nine derivative forms in Modern Arabic.22 These are forms II-X, but form IX is rare. From this example we know that the verb comes after the subject, ّ ح and (with إ ) is the subject of the verb ن and. The second is the verb comes before the subject, it can be seen in jumla fi'liyyah.

From the first and second example, the root of the verb is the same, but in the second example you need to take an addition.

Surah al- Waqi’ah

In this Surah Allah SWT gives the warning about everything that will happen in the judgment day. And also Allah mentions the difference between who receives the book with the left hand and with the right hand in the Day of Judgment. Both categories will receive different conditions from Him in the day after judgment day or the Day of Judgment.

In the translation of the Al-Quran by the Hilaly-Khan translation above, we can know the different states received by both categories of people.

Previous Research Finding

Another qualitative research like the previous one is the contrastive analysis to describe the similarities and differences of Arabic and English verbs in Surah Jaa: Siin.48 The researcher found out from the thesis that the similarities of English and Arabic verbs based on the object are both languages that need an object (transitive verb/ ف). Similarities of tense-based verbs in English and Arabic have (past form/ ض ف, present form/ ف and imperative/ ف), actually both languages have the same meaning. Differences of both languages; in English they have auxiliary verbs, but in Arabic they do not.

From the previous above, give an idea to analyze the contrastive analysis between the English and Arabic verbs in Surah al-Waqi'ah and its English translation in order to reduce the exact translation and facilitate understanding in learning both languages, which is very important for us.

Primary sources are research results or original research papers or theory. In this research the researcher uses the translation of the Qur'an by Dr Muhammad Taqi-ud-din Al Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan, Translation of the meanings of the Noble Qur'an in English, King Fahd Complex for the printing of the holy Qur'an. 'an, Medina as the main source of data. Secondary sources are materials written and published by authors who do not directly observe or participate in the fact that she describes or invents the theory.

This is due to an overview of secondary sources only a glance at to give the areas of knowledge that are still general, not technical, about what has been done on the subject. Technique of Data Collection

The next step is to highlight and identify all the secondary resources to provide the framework for analyzing primary sources. The final step is to analyze the primary sources with some notes from the highlighting and identification process.

Technique of Data Analysis

In this case, the researcher will use content analysis as a data analysis method. Content analysis is a set of procedures for gathering and organizing information in a standardized format that enables analysts to draw conclusions about the characteristics and meaning of written and other recorded material.53. A method of content analysis used to analyze the characteristics and meaning of written text or literature and possibly recorded material.

At step 1, analysts should consider a number of factors when deciding whether or not to use content analysis. 56 Eleanor Chelimsky, Content Analysis: A Methodology for Structuring and Analyzing Written Material, (Washington: United States General Accounting Office.

The researcher encodes each verse of Surah Al-Waqi‘ah by classifying it into a few categories. f. The main goal of content analysis is to analyze information that has been transformed into a useful form.

Organization of the Thesis

The third chapter gives the explanation about the data analysis of the differences of form, position and verb type between English and Arabic verb in Surah al-Waki‘ah and its English translation. The verb is "will be shaken", it used the future form because it expresses the event that it will happen in the future. A reward for what they used to do.' The verb is 'used', it has a past form because it expresses a past event which is used as V2 of 'to use'. The verb is 'have known', it uses the present perfect as it expresses the event already done by the perpetrator.

The verb is ―‖ and ―to say‖, this verb expresses comman, so it is an imperative form. Active voice is used when making a direct statement about an action; that the subject is the doer of the action and the object is the receiver of the action.
