The legal framework of the thermal sector in Spain has special characteristics due to the powers transferred from the central government to the regional ones. The use and protection of the hydrogeological feature (which includes the procedures for obtaining the declaration of mineral status and the declaration of water of public services, the procedures for granting the search and the establishment of procedures for the surrounding protection feature); .

Conclusions

In the application of comparative law, it is concluded that a common legal framework for the Euro region can be based on common elements that Portuguese and Galician law have, which can be deepened and improved according to the monitoring of results and depending on the evolution of the industry. We propose, like some of the international cases studied in this chapter, that this work of improving and updating the common legal framework should be coordinated by a Euro-regional monitoring body, understood as a consultant (not -binding) entity.

The final version of a legal document to guide thermal activity in the Eurozone should result from a joint debate and collaborative work between different sectoral Eurozone actors, in order to obtain a broad understanding on the validation of requirements which must contain. In the application of comparative law, it is concluded that a common legal framework for the Euro-region can be based on common elements that are Portuguese and Galician.

    • Phases of the Study

  • Conclusions

The first phase of the study analyzed sectors of the Portuguese and Spanish franchise from 2004 to 2008. However, to complement the results obtained, future research should examine the effects of territorial exclusivity on network franchising performance.

Appendix: Surve

In addition, healthcare franchising networks, when properly structured and supported, can contribute to the development of a sector that is today of extreme socio-economic importance throughout the European Union (EU). This new organizational model has the potential to contribute to a thriving industry, as well as health and well-being, not only for the development of the industry itself, but also for the sustainability of business in this field internationally.

Eurocity Chaves-Verín: Regional Development Strengthened by Spa-Linked Research

  • Brief Presentation of Eurocity Chaves-Verín, the Eurocity of Water
  • Birth and Concept of Eurocity Chaves-Verín
  • Water-Related Projects in and Around ECV
  • Focus on Professional Education and Research in Water Projects
  • Conclusions

Heinz (2012) includes ECV in a comparative exercise with other eurocities and Lois (2013) reflects abstractly on the meaning of the ECV border. ECV is located in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, on the internal border of the Galicia-North Portugal Euroregion (Figures 4.1 and 4.2. They were one of the key factors that led the Romans to settle in the area (Machado 2006).

This is one of the reasons why we want to emphasize the presence of educational and research concerns in the water projects we have encountered. If the ECV (Integration of Education and Research) strategic plan is not successful, the whole rationale of Eurocity may simply fall apart.

  • Conclusions

However, this led to the death of the concept of thermal tourism. If we analyze the different cycles of recreational activities related to thermal baths that we have experienced over the years, we can recognize six generations of thermal activities. A quality of life that is the sum of personal well-being and collective well-being.

The analysis of thermal tourism supply and demand in Italy is a very complicated task, due to the complexity and heterogeneity of the structures and types of users. Therefore, it is essential to consider the overall image of the destination (perceived and projected).

Finally, the format of the scale was determined by analyzing the different possible formats of the scale.

From the analysis of the mean scores obtained for each of the items, we can identify the main strength and the greatest weakness (Table 6.3). The first is derived from the conduct of the research and the specifics of this item's sector object. study.

However, they suggest that the implementation of the norm always generates an improvement within the organization (Casadesús et al. 1998. The Nottingham Trent University study (1998), conducted with companies in the United Kingdom, states that ISO 9000 certification involves a more efficient the internal process of the organization, and the study shows that external motivations are less important.

The results show that Thalasos wants to implement a QMS to improve the quality of the services provided, improve internal processes and procedures and improve the control and efficiency of the company, all internal motives. Barriers to Implementing Quality

Management in Spanish Thalassotherapy Centers

  • Introduction
  • Theoretical Background
  • Methodology .1 Sample
    • Questionnaire and Measures
  • Data Analysis
  • Conclusions

The second section describes the methods used, while the third brings together the analysis of the results. Raj and Attri (2010) also developed an index for each of the barriers to assess the inhibiting power of the barriers in the implementation of TQM (Table 8.1. 2011) conducted their study in 29 of the 33 spas certified with Q. Tourism Quality (QMS), who found that the main barriers faced by Spanish spas were mainly a lack of time to devote to quality tasks, resistance to change and the assumption of new responsibilities by employees.

The novelty of the study is that it takes place in thalassotherapy centers, a sector where there is no study in the field of quality management. Finally, in the analysis of the structure of the barriers found, we saw that these are grouped either in "organizational barriers" which refer to the existence of some organizational aspects that may prevent the implementation or certification of the Quality Management System or in "Economic and human", which refer to the lack of financial, material and time resources.

    • Ratio of Program Spaces Per Person of 64 Years Old or More
    • Forecast of Spaces in the Program with Respect to the Number of Elderly People
  • Conclusions

This study is planned as a continuation of an analysis of the IMSERSO Social Hydrotherapy Program covered in the Aposta Digital Magazine. With the data provided by IMSERSO for the places in the IMSERSO Social Hydrotherapy Program assigned to each of the Spanish Autonomous Communities, we can calculate the percentage changes with respect to 2010. The graph shown below (Fig. 9.3) shows the evolution of spaces of the IMSERSO Social Hydrotherapy Program from the Autonomous Communities for the period of time and 2014.

The study of the next number of spaces will be done using regression (a method used to predict the value of one variable based on given values for the other variable). In contrast, the lowest ratios are given in the communities of the Canary and Balearic Islands and Valencia, with a value of 0.019.

Spas, Health and Wellness Tourism

  • Introduction
  • Looking for Health, Wellness Searches
  • Hydrotherapy as a Resource for Health and Wellness
  • Health Tourism, Spa Tourism
  • Conclusions

If in the past this could still be transferred to the afterlife, today the desires are earthly and material, "hic et nunc". Hence the abundance of cults and myths, one of them associated with the miraculous powers of thermal waters. In this context, the visitors of the bath acquire a special identity by trying to incorporate into the identity of those places of buildings, the healing waters of such features and thus of their illnesses or other objects that lead here.

Especially since the second half of the twentieth century, due to the improvement of living conditions and schooling, tourism can be considered an industry, a "visible export and import (in)" that comes and goes of great economic, political, social and cultural importance. In the case of tourism, because of Hydrotherapy, we still associate climatic, hydrological, river or sea and even possible nearby beaches with conditions.

  • Conclusions

Portugal is one of the richest European countries in terms of thermal water (APRH 2014), and most Portuguese spas are located mainly inland, in the northern and central regions. In this way, a smart specialization strategy (Del Río et al. 2014; EADA 2013) was created for the central region of the country, where the Beira Interior region is located. In the central region of Portugal, specifically in the Beira interior region, eight thermal baths offer different therapeutic indications (Table 11.1), approved by the National Health Authority (Direção Geral da Saúde), despite their generally similar chemical cataloging attributed to all Portuguese thermal waters.

The properties of the nanocarrier systems such as size, hydrophobicity and charge are fundamental in the controlled release to increase permeation. Nanocarrier systems offer an opportunity to better exploit the cosmetic wealth of Beira Interior's thermal waters.
