After that, the researcher gave the treatment to the experimental group using the VoA Learning English application and the puzzle strategy.

On the other hand, the supervised group will be taught by the teacher using conventional media and strategy. In this case, the conventional media is the audio given by the teacher, and the conventional strategy is the strategy where the teacher just gives the recording and asks the student to answer the question from the recording. The VOA Learning English app has used many English words to convey interesting information or reports.

On the puzzle strategy, the student is made in some groups and has different topics, so in the group there will be interaction on each student.

The Statistical Hypothesis

After all the treatments, the students were given a post-test for both groups to see the results of students' test. The results of the pre-test and post-test of the two classes were compared. This study aims to compare the pre-test and post-test scores after students received treatment using the VoA Learning English application with Jigsaw strategy.

If the post-test result is higher than the pre-test, it means that the treatment is effective. The research focused on two groups of classes, namely the experimental group and the control group. The researcher asked several questions about the recordings given to the students to determine the listening skills of the students in the pre-test and post-test.

In the post-test, the researcher saw how students' listening skills were after using the VoA Learning English app and the jigsaw strategy.

Research Variables

VOA Learn English App with Jigsaw Strategy in teaching English Listening Comprehension for senior high school (X). The population of this research was SMA Negeri 2 students during second grade in the academic year 2021-2022. The sample of this research was 20 students in XI IPA 1 as an experimental class and 20 students in XI IPA 2 as the controlled group.

Purposive sampling is a non-probability sampling method and occurs when the criteria selected for the sample are chosen based on the researcher's judgment. The researcher chose XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 as the sample, because according to the results of the interviews with the English teacher, the XI class was the lower XI IPA class in terms of the level of academic success and interest in learning English, especially listening lessons. 1 and 2.

Research instrument

The purpose of the pre-test is to determine how far the student's listening skills are before using VOA Learning English and the Jigsaw strategy. Meanwhile, the purpose of the post-test is used to determine the improvement of students' ability after using the VOA Learning English application and the Jigsaw strategy. There are several types of tests such as true-false tests, choice tests, multiple choice tests and so on.

According to Brown (2004), some measurement indicators are that students know the topic, detailed information, inferences and references of the information they hear.

Data Collection Technique

A post-test given at the final meeting to measure students' listening comprehension after using the VoA Learning English app and the Jigsaw strategy. The post-test was conducted to determine students' scores after the teaching and learning process and treatment. Today, June 2 - 30, 2022, the researcher did the treatment using the VoA Learning English With Jigsaw Strategy application in the experimental classroom.

Friday, July 3 - 1, 2022, the researcher administered the treatment using conventional media and strategies in the control classroom. At the time of conducting the validity test, there are several conditions that must be checked by the researcher. In addition to the validity test, in this research the researcher also used a reliability test.

To determine the reliability of the instrument in the study, the researcher calculated the reliability using the SPSS version 22 program using the Alpha formula.

Data Analysis Technique

In addition, the analysis also presents the difference between the pre-test and post-test scores performed in the control and experimental classes. In the calculations performed, a profit point is also used which is used to evaluate the performance of the application used. Before testing the hypothesis, the researcher had to do a preliminary analysis of the prerequisite test.

If the normality test results are greater than (> 0.05), the data can be called normal data. If the normality test results are less than (<0.05), the data distribution is called non-normal. To determine whether any of the population variances are similar or not, homogeneity testing is used.

The outcomes of the data analysis served as the basis for the research's conclusions and debate.

The pre- and post-test data of both the experimental and control groups were subjected to a normality test. Discussion

In the last meeting, the students were given a post-test to find out the students' scores after the treatment. The average score of students in the experimental class showed a significant improvement according to the results of the post-tests administered in both courses. In addition to the right strategies, the use of appropriate learning media also greatly affects learning results, such as the use of VoA Learning English App, which combined with puzzle strategy for teaching listening comprehension, which is carried out by researchers and can be seen in scores on posttests for experimental class that is higher than the control class.

The researcher came to the conclusion that there was a difference in the effects on students' listening between teachers who used VoA Learning English App and Jigsaw Strategy and those who did not. The researcher came to the conclusion that the use of VoA Learning English App with Jigsaw Strategy greatly affected students' listening comprehension of 2nd grade students in SMAN 2 Seluma based on the data and discussion in the previous chapter. It was found through the research that the student growth in the experimental and controlled groups differed significantly.

The hypothesis was tested using the independent sample t-test in the SPSS 22 software and a conclusion was made based on the results.
