Present has four subdivisions namely; simple present, present continuous, present prefect and present perfect continuous. Simple present is a tense that shows an action that is happening in this time (Mas'ud, 1998:27). Also, the Simple Present Tense is the tense used to indicate events, actions or conditions that are happening.

In addition, Collins states that Simple Present Tense is used to talk about thoughts and feelings in the present moment, or immediate reactions to something. Soemartono and Suharjito (1995:28) said that the use of Simple Present Tense is intended to express everyday events, habits or actions, general truth and facts, and to express any circumstances or non-action states that represent a situation that currently taking place. at the time of speaking. Azar Betty (1995:11) also states that the use of Simple Present Tense is intended to express an ordinary or daily activity.

Based on the above explanation, it can be concluded that the simple present tense is used to express habit or daily activity, general action or something that is true in general, and future action. The simple present tense is often used in conjunction with the adverb of frequency to convey how often an action occurs (Suroso, 2009: 4). When constructing Simple Present Tense, the adverb of frequency comes before the main verb of a sentence, but after the verb to be and modal verbs (can, must, want, etc.).

The position of the adverb of time in Simple Present Tense sentences can be at the beginning or at the end of the sentence.

A game is therefore a structured activity that is usually done for enjoyment and can be used to educate students. A game is one of the techniques we can use to teach grammar that can make students happy and focus on the activity. It is very motivating because they are fun, interesting and challenging at the same time.

The students who are shy or less confident will enjoy attending the activities, forgetting their shyness and fears (Tuan, 2010:70). Erzos (2000:1) agrees that games can be used to engage students in cooperative and team learning. The game involves equal participation from both slow and fast learners. Students in the classroom are involved in playing the game without differentiating each other (McCallum, 1980; Arikan & Yolegeldili, 2011:220).

Games bring the real situation to the confines of the classroom giving learners the opportunity to use the language. In short, game programs are a useful tool in language teaching because they offer students not only a highly motivating, relaxing class, but above all practice for all language skills. In addition, play also helps the teacher to create context to make the learning process easy.

This means that overuse of games can take away the time students can spend working individually; to have the matter explained properly or simply work seriously with the language (Palanova, 2010: 8). The aim of the game is linguistic accuracy: such as using the correct grammatical forms (Haldfield, 2003:4). It focuses on the successful completion of the game involving solving a puzzle or completing a picture (Haldfield, 2003:4). :1).

Cooperative play is a set of processes that allow people to work together to complete the game. In this case, the students interact and collaborate while playing (Wright, et al, I 2006:1). In fact, the game can be used at any stage of the lesson, once the target language has been introduced and explained; it means that games can be useful to reinforce the materials.
