Independent variable was a variable that influences or becomes the cause of the occurrence of the dependent variable. The quora application referred to in this study is a medium that was applied to find out the reading skills of students such as novels, books, etc. In this study, the researcher only took the population in eleventh grade, namely class XI IPA 2, which consisted of 30 students.
In this research, the sample was selected using purposive sampling technique. The sample was representative of the population. As the sample used only class XI, the sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique.

Teaching and learning about the objective of the material and the teacher gives information about the quora app. The test was similar to the pretest, but this test used the qoura article. The function of the post-test was to know the knowledge and ability of the students in mastering reading after using the quora application as a medium to improve the reading skill of the students.

1 Clearly identify the main idea by providing strong evidence, details related to the main idea. 4 Did not identify the main idea of the story or provide evidence, details regarding the main idea. After collecting the students' data, we classify the students' scores into the following criteria.
This chapter presented the data result of students' effectiveness in reading ability using quora application. The findings of this research present the result covering the effectiveness of students in reading ability with the discovery of main idea and conclusion using quora application.

In the post-test, the researcher presented the result of percentage of students' scores in reading comprehension in relation to main idea after using quora application as a medium in teaching. The students for the main idea in pre-test was 3.06 score and the score of students in post-test was 5.4 and the percentage of improvement between pre-test and post-test was 76.4%. In the pretest, the researcher presented the result of the percentage of the students' values the students' reading comprehension at the end before.
In the post-test, the researcher presented the result of the percentage of the students' reading comprehension scores according to the conclusion after using the quora application as a teaching medium. Students scored 2.73 for the main idea in the pretest, and students scored 4.6 in the posttest, and the percent improvement between the pretest and the posttest was 68.4%. The above frequency of level showed that the level of students' scores in pre-test and post-test.
After applying the quora application as a media-in-term main idea, the students' score improved where the post-test was higher than the pre-test. On the pre-test, the students scored 14 students categorized as very poor, while on the post-test, 12 students were categorized as poor. On the pre-test, the students scored 19 students categorized as very poor, while on the post-test, 23 students were categorized as poor.
The hypothesis is a temporary answer to the problem to be formulated as stated in Chapter II. The hypothesis proposed in this study is: “There is a significant influence in using quora application as a medium in improving students' reading skills, especially in reading comprehension of students of SMA Negeri 2 Takakar especially in class XI IPA 2 in reading.

In this study, it showed that using the quora application as a media to improve students' reading comprehension was effective. The students' reading comprehension score after applying the media-implemented quorum was better than before the treatment given to the students. Therefore, it can be concluded from the research that there was a significant improvement in students' reading comprehension after conducting the treatment using quora application as media.
The implementation of quora application as a media in reading ability could improve students' reading comprehension in the main idea of the aim. So it could be concluded that there were improvements in students' reading comprehension after the treatment used quora application as a medium. It could be concluded that there was an improvement in students' reading comprehension after the treatment used the quora application as a medium in the learning process.
The average score of students' reading comprehension on reading skills showed that the students scored better after using quora application as media in the teaching and learning process. The implementation of quora application as a medium for reading skills could improve students' reading comprehension at the end of terms. The average score of students' reading comprehension in terms of reading comprehension in terms of conclusion showed that students' score improved after using quora application as media in the teaching and learning process.
It means that, using quora application as a media, it was effective to improve students' reading skills, especially in reading comprehension.
Suggestions
Based on the result of the data analysis and the discussion of the result in the previous chapter, the researcher concludes that the reading comprehension of the students of SMA Negeri 2 Takalar in academic year 2018/2019 has improved in terms of main idea after applying quora application as a medium is evident from the average pre-test score of 3.06 and the average post-test score of 5.4. The reading comprehension of the students of SMA Negeri 2 Takalar in the academic year 2018/2019 in terms of conclusion has improved after using the quora application as a medium. This is evidenced by the average pre-test score of 2.73 and the average post-test score was 4.6. Using quora application as media is effective in English learning process, especially in reading skills.
The English teacher should be more creative in choosing a medium in teaching, especially in reading skill and should understand what the students need in the class to make the students more interested and creative. Quora application should be applied in learning English especially in reading skill because it makes the students more effective in reading ability especially in reading comprehension. Quora application can help the students in reading comprehension because this application was easy to use and makes the students more effective and understandable in reading ability.
