There is now a Wattpad application available that contains interesting stories and is easily accessible to everyone. As a result, especially in Indonesia, interest in reading is increasing and interest and understanding of reading is increasing due to the data collected. The previous research contributed to this study by determining whether media tools such as Wattpad can be used in reading activities to improve students' reading skills, and whether the Wattpad application can increase students' reading interest.
So, the researcher can find out whether the Wattpad application can be used as a media tool in reading activities. The data collection tools and techniques used in this study were questionnaire-based instruments, not tests. The correlation between the variables x and y is 0.789, which is a reasonable interpretation of the correlation since it ranges between 0.600 and 0.800.
Therefore, there is a significant relationship between the use of the Wattpad application and the interest of YPK Mabar Grammar School students in reading. Conceptual Framework
The experimental class was a group that received the treatment and the control class was a group that used the conventional class.
