THE EFFECT OF COCONUT WATER AND MORINGA LEAF EXTRACT ON THE GROWTH AND FORMATION OF SHALLOT. One of the PGR is natural PGR, including coconut water (CW) and moringa leaf extract (MLE). CW shows an increase in the number of tubers, number of tubers clump-1, fresh weight tubers clump-1 and dry weight of tuber hectare-1 from concentrations of 20% to 40%, but after a concentration of 40% it continues low. at 100% concentration.
The CW was a natural PGR that can provide the most optimal results for LPSV growth. Auxins can promote plant growth and development and act by stimulating the apical meristem cells of the stems and shoots (Tarigan et al., 2017). As indicated by Indriani et al. (2014), the complexity of the hormone and mineral content in CW resulted in a significant multiplier effect compared to the addition of synthetic BA hormone.
The concentration of the applied solutions must be added because the % in itself is not interpretable. It must be confirmed whether the chemical composition of the CW is stable and no significant variation can be observed. The authors explained the modification of the parameters by the hormone content of the CW.

THE EFFECT OF COCONUT WATER AND MORINGA LEAF EXTRACT ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF SHALLOTS
The efficacy of MLE when sprayed at the turning, jointing and starting stages was the best to induce growth and yield of wheat (Jhilik et al., 2017). The cultivation was intended to weaken the soil, which will support early plant growth and facilitate optimal tuber development. The results of the analysis of variance of number of tubers, number of tubers per clump-1, fresh mass of tubers per clump-1 and dried mass of tubers per hectare-1 showed a significant interaction between CW and MLE.
The results of DMRT at 5% on tiller number, tuber number clump-1, tuber fresh weight clump-1, and tuber dry weight hectare-1 can be seen in Table 1. The effect of PGR type and concentration on tiller number, tuber number clump-1, tubers fresh weight clump-1, and tuber dry weight hectare-1 are shown in Figure 1. 1, tuber fresh weight clump-1, and tuber dry weight hectare-1 decrease from a concentration of 20% to 40%, but after a concentration of 40% increased to 100%.
From this experiment, it was found that CW at a concentration of 40% resulted in the highest tiller number. The CW contains several hormones that play an important role in plant growth and due to the general nature of the hormone that was in relatively low concentrations, it can stimulate cell division and elongation, thereby influencing plant growth and development. Natural PGR types contained different growth hormones and minerals, so they will have different effects on the growth and yield of LPSV plants.
For this reason, to achieve maximum results, a natural PGR containing the perfect type of hormone at the concentration required for growth and development of plants, including shallots, was required. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that there was a significant interaction between PGR type and concentration on the growth and yield of shallot, including number of rosettes, number of tubers per clump-1, fresh weight of tubers per clump-1 and dry weight of tubers per hectare . 1. The use of CW at a concentration of 40% as a natural PGR showed the best effect to increase the growth and yield of shallot, while MLE up to a concentration of 100% was still an increasing trend.
The research results show that PGR type CW in a concentration of 40% produces the highest growth and yield of shallots. By testing the types and concentrations of natural PGR in the study, it can contribute to an increase in the growth and yield of LPSV. The experiment bed was covered with black silver plastic cover. Plant spacing in the bed was 15 × 15 cm. Plant growth and yield observations of LPSV included number of tillers, number of tubers cluster-1, tubers fresh weight cluster-1 and dried tubers ha-1.
The CW concentration had a significant effect on all the parameters observed, but the MLE concentration had no significant effect. The results of ANOVA can be presented in Table 1. The results of ANOVA on tiller number, tuber number clump-1, tubers fresh weight clump-1, and the tubers dried weight hectare-1. The research findings show that the PGR type CW at a concentration of 40% offers the highest growth and yield of shallots.
EFFECT OF COCONUT WATER AND MORINGA LEAF EXTRACT ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF SHALLOT EXTRACT ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF SHALLOT. The aim of this study is to know the effect of CW and MLE in different concentrations on the growth and yield of LPSV. The results showed that there was a significant interaction between PGR species and concentration affecting the growth and yield of shallots, including number of rosettes, number of tubers per clump-1, fresh weight of tuber per clump-1 and dry weight of tubers per hectare-1.
The research results show that the PGR type of CW at a concentration of 40% gives the highest growth and yield of shallots. This study aimed to know the effect of CW and MLE at different concentrations on the growth and yield of LPSV. The results showed a significant interaction between PGR types and concentration affecting the growth and yield of shallots, including number of tillers, number of tubers lump-.
The CW application at a concentration of 40% as natural PGR showed the best effect in increasing growth and yield of shallot, while MLE up to a concentration of 100% still tended to increase. Therefore, test types and concentrations of natural PGR in the study may contribute to an increase in the growth and yield of LPSV. Based on the above literature review, this study aimed to know the effect of CW and MLE at different concentrations on the growth and yield of LPSV.
The CW concentration observed significant influence on all the parameters, but the MLE concentration had no significant effect. The results of ANOVA can be presented in Table 1. The results of ANOVA on tillers number, tubers number bunch-1, tubers fresh weight bunch-1, and the tubers dried weight ha-1. Tubers number, tubers number bunch-1, tubers fresh weight bunch-1, and the tuber dried weight ha-1. Based on the results and discussion, there was a significant interaction between PGR types and concentration on the growth and yield of shallots, including roots number, tuber number bunch-1, the tuber fresh weight bunch-1, and tuber dry weight ha- 1.
The CW application at a concentration of 40%. as a natural PGR showed the best effect to increase the growth and yield of shallot, while MLE up to a concentration of 100% still had an increasing trend.
