To identify students' learning styles of the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Jenangan academic year 2015-2016. To determine the students' reading performance of the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Jenangan academic year 2015-2016.
Definition of Learning
These above definitions have become the basic construct of ELT (Experience Language Learning), which focuses on learning as the result of synergistic transactions between person and environment. From the above explanations, the researcher tries to define learning as an activity of change that occurs during the interaction between the subject and society.

Reading
Reading is the process of constructing meaning by coordinating a number of complex processes, including reading words, knowledge of words and the world, and fluency34. That way, what's in your head is just as important as what's on the page in the process of creating meaning (reading). From the above definitions, it can be said that reading is the process of constructing and understanding text with a sustained process that includes practice activities.
Following the set of categories established for listening comprehension, similar specifications are provided here, except with slightly different terminology to capture the uniqueness of reading. Reading is a complex activity, as it is a process of thinking and interpreting information from a written text. Transition involves the reader's action or interpretation of the text, and the interpretation is influenced by the reader's past experiences, linguistic background, cultural framework, as well as the reader's purpose for reading.37.
In the actual process of reading aloud as well, they usually find that their eyes are several words, if not lines in front of their tongue. From these definitions above, it implied that reading is complex activity that forced the reader to not only read but also understand the meaning.
Previous Research Finding
Comparative study between students' learning styles (visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners) on English performance of SMP Terpadu Ponorogo in academic year 2011-2012. In this research, Sylvia wanted to determine whether there is significant difference between three kinds of learning styles among students at SMP Terpadu Ponorogo, which variable control is English achievement. Research design of Sylvia's research is comparative study comparing between learning styles and English.
Sylvia Indar Kartika's thesis has the same focus as this research on the comparison between students' learning style, but Sylvia used English achievement as a control variable and in this research the researcher used reading achievement as a control variable because the researcher. Third, Jose Bernier's dissertation titled “The Relationship Between Learning Styles and Online Education Among Entry-Level Doctorate of Pharmacy Students”. Jose Bernier created research focusing on the relationship between learning style and online education among entry-level pharmacy doctoral students.
On the other hand, researchers in my study want to determine whether there is a significant effect between students. From previous research above, the researcher was interested to conduct the research on the same topic, learning style, but the researcher does not want to correlate the students' learning style with their performance, but the researcher wants to conduct a causal comparative study that wants to teach the students have insight into their learning style.
Theoretical Framework
Hypothesis
Research Design
In agreement with Donald Ary, Andan Latief continues to describe causal comparative research as the method of measuring the cause and effect relationship without manipulating and controlling the independent variable44. From statements above, it can be said that quantitative research is design of research that collects numerical data to explain the phenomena. Causal comparative research is designed to identify the cause-and-effect of independent and dependent variable.
The researcher is forbidden to manipulate and control the respondent in data collection, because when the researcher controlled the independent variable, the research design should change to experimental research. In this research, the independent research is students' learning styles and the dependent variable is students' reading achievement.
Population and Sample 1. Population
Sample
According to the above statement, all students of the population have become champions (67 students). According to Suarsimi Arikunto, when all populations are sampled, the researcher used population research as a sampling technique48.
Instrument of Data Collection
Technique of Data Collection
Questionnaire
From the above statement, it can be said that the questionnaire is the tool for collecting research data that focuses on numerical data. 53 Sandra Penger, Metka Tekavic, Testing Dunn & Dunn's and Honey & Mumford's Learning Style Theories: The Case Of The Slovenian Higher Education System, 6. But the current thinking of measurement experts is that validity should be linked to the use to be made of the results of a test.
Validity refers specifically to the appropriateness of making specific inferences or decisions based on the scores of a test.'54 Validity is probably the single most important aspect of the design of any measurement instrument in educational research. 25 students of the 12th grade student of SMA Negeri 1 Jenangan were taken as respondents to determine the validity of the questionnaire. Adnan Latief further defines reliability as referring to the consistency of the scores resulting from the assessment57.
From the above statements, the researcher wants to construct the definition of reliability, referring to the accuracy and consistency of the test result that represents the true level of the test. Since the value of rx is 0.782 and rtable is 0.396, it means that rx is higher than rtable. The questionnaire is therefore reliable.

Learning Styles
Then, the researcher categorized the students' learning styles using mean analysis, and the result can be seen as follows. From the above histogram it shows that most of the students' learning styles are visual which have 43 students, followed by kinesthetic styles which have 16 students and auditory which have 8 students.
Reading Achievement
Based on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire of students'. learning using analysis of mean, there are 43 students classified as visual, 8 students are auditory, and 16 students are kinesthetic. From this result it can be stated that 64% is visual, 12% auditory and 24%. are kinesthetic learners. From histogram above shows that the majority of students' learning styles are visual which has 43 students, next is kinesthetic styles which has 16 students and auditory has 8 students. a) Determine Range (R).
From data on the table above it can be informed that the highest frequency is 16 students, who have a score in range score 9-19, and the lowest frequency is 1 student in range score 75-85. From such a categorization it can be seen that the students' questionnaire on reading performance showed that 19.5% were in the good category, 61% in a medium category and 19.5% in a low category.
Data Analysis
In this research, the independent variable is students' learning styles and the dependent variable is students' reading performance. This means that for every increasing 1 value of students' learning styles as an independent variable, students' reading performance as a dependent variable will increase by 4.213. This means that if there is no value of visual styles, then the value of students' reading performance is -145,748.
By referring to the result of the analysis through SPSS 18 for Windows, it can be concluded that visual styles as an independent variable significantly influenced the students' reading performance as a dependent variable. Since the significant value of t is less than 0.005, the auditory learning styles as an independent variable therefore have a significant influence on the students' reading performance as a dependent variable. It means that if there is no value for kinesthetic learning styles as an independent variable, the value of reading performance is -82.072.
The regression coefficient X is 3.328; implies that every 1 increase in the value of kinesthetic learning styles, reading achievement as the dependent variable will increase by 3.328. From the above description, it can be said that there is a different effect of each learning style on reading achievement, in which visual learning styles have the highest effect on students' reading achievement.
Discussion of The Research Findings
This data also showed that if there is no value of learning styles, the value of reading performance is therefore -100.193. Then the significant value of t is 0.000. This means that there is a significant effect of different learning styles with reading performance of the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Jenangan academic year 2015/2016. Workman who said that "the students who understand their learning style will have a well-planned life, where they will have more success in their work, have a better chance to avoid problematic situations and they will be more able to to target what needs to be improved". 62 Furthermore, it Becky L.
Then the researcher conducts a thorough analysis of different effects of each learning style on reading achievement. To determine them, researcher compared the F value from analysis of ANAVA used SPSS 18 for Windows programs. And the result is that each learning style is different, where the highest effect is visual styles with the value of F is 209.746, next is auditory with the value of F is 60.557, and the lowest is kinesthetic styles with the value of F is 6,039. This result did not mean that the visual learning style is considered the best style or that the kinesthetic is called the worst style for literacy.
The value of the regression coefficient is 4.213; shows that any increase 1 value of students' learning styles, that is, students'. The value of t is less than 0.005 and it means that Ha is accepted or in other words it means that there is significant influence of students' learning styles (independent variable) on their reading achievement (dependent variable) ).
