Carolyn Clark ’90 first woman to lead Board of Trustees
Amy comes to Alfred University with 25 years of experience in student-facing roles in higher education, including the last 13 years as vice president for student development at her alma mater, Medaille College at Buffalo. We are pleased to have Amy DeKay join us as our Vice President for Student Experience,” said Mark Zupan, President of Alfred University. Openhym residence hall renamed in honor of Greg Connors ’92

Provost Dobie named chief operating officer
Tammara Raub is returning to Alfred University as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business and Finance, effective Jan. Raub, who served as Alfred University's controller from 2001-12, will take over for Giovina Lloyd '96, '97 MBA, who is leaving her position as CFO and VP of Business and Finance at the end of calendar year 2022. Raub returns as interim VP for Business and Finance
Raub will serve the Business and Finance Office as a consultant in December until she assumes her interim role. Lloyd, who has served as CFO and Vice President for Business and Finance since 2008, announced in October that she was leaving the University. Raub will come to Alfred University from Mozaic, a leading social services agency in Upstate New York, where she has served as CFO since 2016.
Alumni Council Awards program reinvigorated with award statues cast at National Casting Center
Marianne earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Alfred University and then earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Two appointed to Board; three named Life Trustees
The appointments were made at the May board meeting and were effective July 1. In July, Alfred University announced ambitious plans to develop a sports complex atop Jericho Hill in Alfred.
