CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT 2017 AND 2018 ACADEMIC YEAR

Determination of continuous improvement is done by evaluating 2 input points including:

1. Evaluation of SO achievements in each subject each year: 2016,2017,208 and 2019.

2. Input from the results of the survey exit

Perfomance evaluation of SO-1, SO-2, SO-3, SO-4, SO-5, SO-6 and SO-7 support for all supporting courses for 2017 and 2018.

A. EVALUATION OF ACHIEVEMENTS SO-1

Year 2017

Based on monitoring the achievement of SO-1 performance in 2017, Subjects that still have an assessment of their achievement is still relatively low (50%):

Reinforce Concrete II

The results of the evaluation conducted for the Reinforce Concrete II course, a number of improvement points for improving the achievement of future learning:

 Providing additional response sessions for exercises in problem solving

 Increase teaching staff and assistants

 Encourage students to have independent motivation to learn Concrete

"code" standards further

YEAR 2018

Based on the achievement of SO-1 performance monitoring in 2018, Subjects that still have an assessment of their achievements are still relatively low (50%):

 Structural Analysis I

The results of the evaluation conducted to achieve the performance of Structural Analysis I courses, several points of improvement to improve learning achievement in the future:

 Provision of response sessions for assistance in completing exercises for solving problems needs to be improved

 Lecture material is equipped with sample questions / exercises

 Improvement of assessment instruments by emphasizing task assessment / practice question

B. EVALUATION OF ACHIEVEMENTS SO-2

Year 2017

For SO-2 achievement in 2017, Subjects that still have an achievement assessment are still relatively low (50%):

 Advance Foundation Engineering

 Integrated Design

 Steel Structure

Based on evaluations conducted for the course, a number of points of improvement for future SO-2 achievement

Advance Foundation Engineering

 Provision of tasks / exercises is reproduced

 Completing lecture material with material on examples of foundation implementation

Integrated Design

 Improvement of learning methods with an emphasis on activeness of students in understanding design concepts comprehensively based on existing "code"

standards

 Increase teamwork in the integrated design process from various disciplines / KKD

 Increased use of design software Reinforce Concrete II

 Providing more response / consultation sessions

 Provision of task assistants from final / senior level students

Based on the monitoring results of SO-2 achievements in 2018, Subjects that still have an assessment of their achievement are still relatively low (<50%):

 Structural Analysis I

The results of the evaluation conducted for the Structural Analysis I course, several points of improvement for the improvement of SO-2 achievement going forward

• Learning methods are more interactive

• Increase training assignments

C. EVALUATION OF ACHIEVEMENTS SO-3

Year 2017

Based on monitoring SO-3 achievements in 2017, Subjects that still have an assessment of their achievements are still relatively low (<50%):

 Integrated Design

Based on evaluations carried out for Integrated Design courses, several improvement points for increasing SO-3 achievements in the future include:

• Increase the number of task presentation sessions at each stage of the design process

• Use of a more interactive presentation media

• Encourage students to be more active in team collaboration skills

• Increase assignment presentation sessions

• Lecture material is enriched with the latest innovations in the field of foundation engineering

RESUME

Referring to the results of evaluating SO achievements of each course conducted from 2016, 2017 and 2018, it is concluded that several points of continuous improvement include:

1. Improvement of learning methods in the form of providing material in the form of simulations and visits to the field and introduction of the latest software as supporting tools

2. Improving the assessment instruments in each subject in the form of adding assignments or problem solving exercises

3. Adding response sessions for assistance in completing tasks or training 4. The addition of assistant staff for assistance
