By integrating the arts (A) with STEM technology, we can create a space for interdisciplinary curriculum design to implement transformative (T) pedagogies that not only enable students to develop disciplinary knowledge/skills, but also (i) awaken their creative self-confidence, (ii ) raise their moral/ethical and spiritual awareness and (iii) empower them for social and environmental justice. Peter's vision of education combines art and science to foster creativity, critical self-reflection, ethical acumen, political awareness and cross-cultural engagement, which are essential transdisciplinary capabilities for living and working sustainably in the complex, diverse and contested worlds of the 21st century.

As in organic chemistry, they think of molecules: "NaCl molecules" in sodium chloride, even of "Cl-Ca-Cl molecules" in solid calcium chloride or in aqueous solutions. The same with acids and bases: Students often think of "HCl molecules" in hydrochloric acid or "NaOH molecules" in sodium hydroxide solution.

In this lecture, I will talk about the contribution of mathematics to the development of the MSY and MEY resulting from a bioeconomic model by looking at the effect of above mentioned processes including spatial heterogeneity of the species, internal competition in the species (intraspecific competition) and the existence of Allee effects in the species. In this lecture I will discuss the influence of the threshold in determining the level of the MSY and the MEY, through different approaches.

Teacher-created images of the mathematics curriculum play a key role in incorporating substantive and transformative pedagogy into the classroom. The images of the mathematics curriculum have a direct positive or negative effect on the teaching and learning process. The paper thus investigates the images of mathematics curricula implemented by secondary school mathematics teachers.
We accept the sequential interests of Habermasian knowledge (Technical, Practical and Emancipatory) as a theoretical orientation to assess teacher images of the mathematics curriculum and to discuss transformative pedagogies. The pedagogical implications of such images of the mathematics curriculum are discussed, and a roadmap for transformative pedagogies for the sustainable future of students is suggested. We conceptualize mathematics curriculum images as a picture or mental representation which is created during interaction in schools, universities and society.

In Indonesia, oil palm plants are one of the most consumed and produced palm oil plants in the world, reaching a ton of the total world production. However, palm oil growth is hampered by palm frond-eating insects, one of which is the caterpillar or nettle caterpillar, which can destroy about 35% of Indonesia's total palm oil production, or about 6.4 tons per hectare. . The purpose of this study is to monitor the presence of the nettle caterpillar with a remote Raspberry camera.
This study uses the nettle caterpillar image collection from the Internet as training datasets and true nettle caterpillar as test datasets. The results of this identification can be used to determine the exact amount of pesticides to be applied according to the growth of the pest insect. The expected result of this research is the identification of the stinging nettle caterpillar that influences the growth of oil palms.

The central principle of the proposed PLR model is a logging process to enable rollback by logging the task, which is determined in the log report when the failure occurs. Soon after the failure, the system is perfectly restored so that the system functions like a new one. After the system works again for some time, the system fails, and then the perfect repair is performed.
When the system is in operation, it generates some income, which depends on the length of the operation time. On the other hand, when the system is repaired, the maintenance costs are incurred, which also depends on the length of the repair time. Thus, during the time interval [0, t] the system generates the total profit equal to the total revenue minus the total maintenance cost.

The purpose of this study is to explore the perception of the contextualization of the mathematics curriculum held by secondary school mathematics teachers. Some teachers try to relate the current mathematics curriculum to the context whenever they teach some content in classroom teaching and learning. It is based on their experiences of teachers who have been involved in teaching and learning for more than twenty years.
A lot of content taught in the classroom doesn't find its applicability in their field outside of teaching inside the classroom. These matters were focused by the respondents on their paper, as well as in the communication. Furthermore, appropriateness of curriculum and individual efforts of the students should be encouraged and credited are the crucial parts of the project.

This study aims to analyze the effect of project-based learning (PjBL) on self-efficacy and academic achievement in learning natural indicators of the pH range of high school students. Research instruments used include observation sheet, self-efficacy questionnaire and academic achievement test. The increase in self-efficacy and academic achievement was measured based on pre-test and post-test score differences using the N-Gain formula.
The results showed that there is a positive influence of PjBL on self-efficacy and academic performance in the pH range natural indicator lesson of high school students with the improvement but not significant. The improvement in academic performance in pH ranges over the natural indicator class of experiment class and control class in the medium category. Teachers are expected to use PjBL as an alternative strategy to improve high school students' self-reliance and academic performance in the other classes.

This study aims to develop students' chemical identity thinking (CIT) through problem-based learning in redox and electrochemistry learning. The qualitative methodology with several methods of interview, CIT assessment, reflective journal writing and class observation was used. Learning is done with case studies regarding the chemical identity of substances and their uses.
The improvement of CIT occurs in eight categories (functional use, superficial similarity, historical, substantial, additive, elementalism, structuralism, emergence) demonstrated in students' thought process. The development of CIT can help students apply their chemical knowledge to solve problems in everyday life.

Flavonoids can be found in every organ of plants and have a role as a natural antioxidant. The purpose of this research was to see the effect of maceration and drying time on the level and type of flavonoids from some leaves of plants located in Taman Wisata Alam Pangandaran. This research used CRD (Completely Randomized Design) with 2 factorial designs. The first factor was the soaking time of the plant extract in 96% ethanol for 24 hours and 48 hours, the second was the drying time for 14 and 21 days.
The qualitative parameter was determined by the change in the color of the solution used in the reagent, as well as quantitatively with a spectrophotometer of 415 nm. Quantitative 2-way ANOVA analysis showed that all groups exhibited significant effects of maceration and drying with optimal flavonoid levels varying from one to another.
