DREAM ON

Because we have realized this year that you have had your dreams and that you have followed those dreams step by step. May they always guide your dreams and may your dreams guide your life.

YOU CAN

No one knows the answer to these questions, but one thing is certain - you would do a lot. Do as much as you can, as often as you can, for as long as you can.

34;IF IN A THOUSAND WORDS"

We constantly question whether or not this is visible to the public eye. The question is always the same: How will they achieve as much as we have when they are now blessed with everything. I did not choose to be an ordinary person because I have the right to be extraordinary.

As we six individuals close the lives that have been ours for the past seven years, I hope that the reflections we have left, the portrait we have painted this year, was one that someone, somewhere was able to make. share and benefit by bringing light to their world. It is very difficult to express this feeling that is leaving me empty when I know that the day is over and the work is done.

LOOK AHEAD TO THE BEST IN LIFE

And the vast majority of all material goods that we use in daily life were developed in the present, the 800th life. Fortunately, most of the changes have been positive, and the FFA still exists as an organization that is largely of, by and for its members. The Future Farmers of America is an organization that, like our nation itself, is founded on strong principles and strengthened by enduring traditions.

It's often too easy to sit back and cherish all the good memories of the good times we've had and the progress we've made in the past. But the past is gone and the biggest challenges are still around us waiting to be conquered. I hope that for the last 13 months I have held the position from which I will soon resign.

I can look back and feel lucky about the good times and the progress that has been made in the past year. Today we turn the leadership of this organization over to six new national officers and can look forward to the coming year with confidence in the progress our organization will make under their leadership. I hope and pray that these six do not take their challenges lightly, because in the selection of the team of national officers, we decide a great deal for the future of FFA.

FREEWAY OF AMERICA

Free to apply himself, he became President of the United States and the so-called "Father of our Constitution." Andrew Carnegie started working in a bobbin bay in a cotton factory for $1.20 a week. Because of freely developed ability to write, Mark Twain was called, "the Lincoln of our literature." And at the age of fifteen, while working in his father's shop, George Washington invented a rotary engine. Their successes stand as road markers on America's highway to point us in the right direction and to make us aware of our location and distance to our next goal.

And people who traveled to understand and help other people; and to be more aware of Him who is within us. When our Creator breathed the breath of life into man, He endowed all mankind with the ability to think, learn, love, communicate and work. With his divine gift of life, God has given us the power of the entire universe to develop and grow.

It's time for us as Americans to rise up and move forward to take advantage of all the opportunities America's highway has to offer. Strive to achieve from yourself all that you have to give; and dedicate yourself to achieving your highest aspirations in life on the God-blessed highway of America. In addition, high school counselors and school administrators become more familiar with the agricultural industry through face-to-face contact with professionals who manage engaging career fairs.

NATIONAL CONTESTS

It is indeed a pleasure to report to you on behalf of the 1975 National Convention Committee. We recommend that the Future Farmers of America express our sincerest appreciation to the individuals and groups, for their time and dedication, who have this convention so successful. Carter, 1975 Chair of the Foundation's Sponsorship Committee and all members, for their outstanding service and leadership, showcased that organization.

To all members of the National FFA Band and Chorus and special talents, and a special thanks to our convention organist, Nancy Fairless of the Tennessee Association. The Directors and Assistants of the Press Corps, Courtesy Corps, Ushers, Stage/Arena Crews and all others who assisted in the smoothness of the convention. A special thank you to the major television networks who sacrificed time to cover the Vice President's inspirational speech and other conferences.

After reviewing the proceedings of the 47th National Convention and the 48th National Convention, we would like to thank, appreciate and commend the National Officers and Board of Directors for the biggest and best conventions ever. In the future, we would suggest a selection of speakers whose comments relate to the needs of individual members and the true goals and purposes of FFA. In order to increase attendance, allow more time for awards, guest speakers and special music, we suggest the following: That the National Convention be extended by half a day, with the General Business Session beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

NATIONAL FFA PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTEST

I consider the humanitarian role of the farmer to be that of a heart surgeon or a medical researcher who finds a safe cancer. That farmer needs to be able to look his banker in the eye and ask for a $50,000 operating loan and have the records to back up his request.” Just a farmer. This man, who is called a farmer, could easily be called the proverbial "Jack-of-a-lot" of trades, and he has to master everything.

As Franklin Roosevelt was fond of saying, "Credit belongs to the man who is actually in. Thousands watched and their hearts trembled at the thought of the child perishing in the flames. Suddenly someone in the crowd shouted, "Give him a cheer! " Cheer after cheer went up, and as the fireman heard, he mustered fresh courage.

Before long he brought the child down in safety." The farmer does not save our children and us. We liked to say that the farmer's raw materials are the soil, the sun, the sky, the rain and the seed; but this poetic phrases do not take into account everything that farmers need to know, and have, and do to convert the raw materials into finished agricultural products and market them in good condition at the right time." Woodrow Wilsons, the Albert Schweitzers, the George Marshalls and the Albert Einsteins, because haven't you heard.
