WATCH FOR BRIDGE CLOSINGS EAST OF CAMPUS

Since we have not heard otherwise, we have to assume that plans for closing bridges over the canal east of campus are going ahead. Both the Michigan St. and New York St. bridges just east of West St. are set to be completely closed to all traffic about mid-June.

Construction of new bridges is expected to take from 4-5 months after work begins. Bids on both projects have not yet been awarded, so construction could be delayed.
