Miss Ruth Canfield,
Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Carnegie Technical School
Pittsburgh, Pa.
My dear Ruth:-
I have heard from Miss Moorman and have received her drawings. Candidly, I am not very greatly impressed by them. We like her color and her design is fairly good but the drawing is certainly poor.
I am coming down on Wednesday and will be with you that morning. I am writing Miss
Moorman to this effect. I think you spoke of another girl whom you had in mind. Will it be possible for you to present somebody else without committing us to any decision? I hope also that Miss Davidson will be there as I should like to talk the matter over with her.
With kind regards, I am, Yours very truly,
