The field of English education in Indonesia has undergone significant developments in recent decades. This transformation can be attributed to the increasing influence of globalization and advancements in information technology, which have reshaped communication paradigms and global access to information. English has emerged as a pivotal international language with profound relevance in various facets of life, including business, cross-cultural communication, and access to international information sources. Consequently, English language instruction at the junior high school (SMP) level plays an increasingly crucial role in preparing students to confront the complexities of the globalized world.

Objective of the study

This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of technology- based learning in enhancing English reading skills among junior

high school students, directly comparing its impact with traditional teaching approaches

Does the integration of technology-based learning methods significantly improve the English reading skills of junior high school students compared to traditional

teaching methods?

Developing a framework that integrates technology into English teaching, outlining the theoretical foundation for the experimental study.

Research Design:

An experimental study design will be employed to assess the impact

of technology-based learning on junior high school students' English

reading skills.

Population and Sample:

The study will target junior high school

students within a defined geographical

area. A representative sample will be

selected for experimentation.
