Atrstract

This

study

was

motivated

by

students' errors

in writing

analytical exposition

text

at eleventh grade students

of SMAN

12 Sijunjung. The instrument used in this study was document that the result

of

a student essay in

writing

analytical exposition text. Data were collected

with

3

times the document retrieval through (purposive sampling)

that

investigators

took 10

students (students

who

have been

written it

the lowest determined

by

the teacher based on the student's mark) of all essays

of

students. After analyzing the students errors in

writing

analytical exposition text, what types

of

errors. A-fter getting the results

of

the analysis

it

was

found

students make errors. First, subject-verb agreement error in using person or number consisting

of3

students that student

and C. While on the subject-verb agreement error in using a thing composed of students

A,

C, and

E.

Second, verb tense error consists

of

students

B

and C and on the type

oferrors

verb form consists

of

students

C, and E. Furthermore, students did not used too many errors in using singular

Last, word form error consists

of

students B and

C.

We can concluded that more students make errors

in

verb

form

errors and

form errors.
