Special Expenses

Grade Replacement, Forgiveness, Repeating Courses, Auditing

Withdrawal from a required practical nursing course requires withdrawal from the required nursing didactic course(s) unless 75 percent of the didactic course has been fully completed. Withdrawal from nursing courses constitutes a disruption to progress and requires a student to attempt to reintegrate into the program. More than three academic admissions in a semester are considered lack of progress toward the degree.

If a student withdraws from a course that requires automatic withdrawal from the corresponding course, that withdrawal from both courses will count as one withdrawal. A pattern of multiple discharges in more than one semester (more than four in more than two semesters or a similar pattern) may be considered by the Admissions, Promotion and Graduation Committee as a lack of progress toward graduation and may affect the request for consideration for readmission to the nursing program.
