PREFACE

lndonesian Fisheries Research JournalVol.l3 No.2 December 2007 is the 2nd publish in FY 2007. The journal published by Research Center for Capture Fisheries-Research Agency for Marine and Fisheries.

lnd.Fish.Res.J., initiated in December 2007, consists of six papers. They are: survey of bottom trawl inAceh waters after tsunami, density and environmental of Java Sea Pelagic fish, target strength analysis of pelagic flsh in the Java Sea, coral fisn population in the Lebah Coastial, rainbow selebensis in Lake Towuti, and microbial symbionts of sponges' Theonella sP.'

We do thanks to the Editorial Board and Refree forevaluating the articles before accepted for publication' Their contribution have undoubtedly increase the journal quality. Finally, we hope the Ind.Fish,Res.J' would contribute importance information to support the fisheries and technology development in Indonesian.
