CHAPTER I: INTRODUCTION
An internship have its own meaning, it’s a temporary position, could be at an institution or a company in which emphasize more into the on the job training, that could be paid or unpaid. [ CITATION Int17 \l 1033 ]. Internship will be the opportunity where students could experience the “real situation” of working for a company before they go for the real employment status. Internship is usually done by the college students or graduates students. The period of an internship will be dependable on the company provision, but usually many companies need a three until six-month’s period of an intern.
Having intern as a college student is really important as it offer the opportunity for students to feel the exact situation of working in their desired field. That is why it can be an excellent way to "try out" a certain career. For instance, we may think that we want a fast-paced job in advertising after college, but after an internship, we may find that it's not for us; that's valuable insight that will help us to choose our own career path. On the other side, if its suits, then we may get the bigger chances to continue our working experience as an employee there.
Having intern could also give a different experiences, as intern could be done in the startup or a corporate. The differences could be literally being felt. In the startup company, the working-time is more flexible as it is startup. Lots of experiences as we could directly learn from the CEO. Working in a startup usually requires us to be versatile, as a lot of things are needed to be done. Meanwhile, working in a corporate have their own working schedule already, the system are already there and we just need to follow as an intern. Usually, we were given a specific task by the time we were being accepted and need to regularly do the task assigned.
The next section will be about the detail of the company internally, their history, what are they upholds, and their core activities. The internship activities are then described, how the result is and in the end, will be concluded by the recommendation part for the companies and internship program.

Stocks market in Indonesia is one of the highest return in the world. In 2017, our Indonesian Composite Index produces over 20%. Besides, the number of investors also increases year by 30% to 15% every year since 2015.
CHAPTER III: INTERNSHIP ACTIVITIES
As the executive trainer at PT. Ellen May Indonesia, my main duty is to conduct seminar and training for members. During the seminar, it is my job to share the knowledge regarding trading and investing to member of Gold Premium Access (Ellen May’s membership).Beside sharing, it is also my job to upsell them to bigger seminar (Super Performance Trader Workshop). It is a workshop conducted by Ellen May Institute regarding stocks market trading. (Figure 3.1 technical process).
In here, my main duty is to fill in the gathering and seminar. Ms. Ellen May entrusted me to handle the process of seminar by sharing knowledge to the participants.
After the seminar, I’m expected to be able to upsell the participants to join either Super Performance Trader Workshop or become a member of Gold Premium Access.
CHAPTER IV: PERSONAL RESULTS
The work is worthwhile since I gained so many new experiences and thankfully I’m already hired as a full time. Since Ellen May Institute is a start-up company, I learned a lot about the process of building teams from scratches, creativity in problem solving, how to handle people, etc.
Working in this industry helps me to tap in into people’s investing behavior.
During the seminars, there are people who have no idea about investing in stocks market and wanted to learn. During the seminars also there are some people who got into stocks market and suffer from huge losses. Both of these people will later have different investing mood and behaviors, therefore we can’t treat them similarly.
Besides learning about investor behavior, I also learn a lot about public speaking and communication skills. My boss is really good in sharing her knowledge to team members. For example, she taught us about Neuro-Linguistic Programming, technical analysis skills, negotiations, etc. She even sent us to camps, workshops and trainings.
Since this is also a start-up company, I learned to work on all areas. My main duty is event management and education, but I’m also able to explore other areas such as marketing, sales, analyst, and even customer service activities. This helped me to understand on how the business operates as a whole.
CHAPTER V: RECOMMENDATION
The life working here at Ellen May Institute is priceless. So far, my duty is to conduct seminar and to educate investors and traders inside our members. The workflow is we first invited them into our office, which could only held up to 40 people. Within 40 people, there is approximately 30%-20% will join to the next seminar.
5.1 Recommendation for Company
I think the process will be more effective if we could gather 300-200 people directly in a larger place. By doing so, the converted sales will be much higher. The reason is, when someone see other people also buying, they will highly likely to buy our services as well.
5.2 Recommendation for University
I think the process of the submission of this report could be done online. I understand that the reason why we need to print the hard copy and put a corporate stamp on it is for originality purposes. But I believe, the process of the submission could be done by each internee through their corporate email to solve the originality problem.
