These characteristics indicate a relationship between the teacher's indirect and direct speaking, that is, the teacher spends more time talking during the teaching and learning process to ask questions and give lectures. FIA sets out ten categories for classifying verbal interaction in the classroom, including three groups, namely teacher, student conversation and silence or confusion. If a student passes on some suggestions, the teacher can repeat in his own style or words in a nutshell. When the teacher asks the students not to interrupt with silly questions, then this behavior is included in this category. Previous Related Studies
A study of the characteristics of classroom interaction in a geography class conducted in English: the case of year ten one. The findings show that the most dominant feature in the classroom immersion interaction was content intersection (that most of the teaching-learning time was devoted to questions and lectures by the 5 teacher). The findings of this research were that for teacher A in VIIC, the teacher spoke (66.15%) and the students (33.10%).
It had shown that the teacher conversation was the most dominant interaction in the classroom during the observation. In addition, for both Teacher A and Teacher B, the content intersection was the most dominant feature of the observation. The previous studies explain that the analysis of interaction in the classroom almost corresponded to this research.
In the previous study, however, the focus is on the teaching question and the teacher's effect.

During the learning process, the researcher analyzed how the teacher and students created classroom interaction. In the observation process, classroom interaction that gives direction was used several times by the English teacher during the learning process. In the observation activity, the researcher found that the teaching category was found by the English teacher in every meeting/in every learning process.
When the learning activities start, the English teacher always uses the feeling of acceptance to open a conversation between the teacher and the students. The teacher makes students feel more confident when answering questions or assignments from the English teacher. The English teacher asks students in the learning activities to build student interaction during the learning activities.
The English teacher applies this category of feeling acceptance when starting the process of new learning activities. The last discussion in the observation activity, the researcher found a criticizing or justifying category of the author, which was made by the English teacher for the students.

Extract 2 shows that the English teacher gives directions to students to create examples of learning materials.
In extract 4 it can be shown that the English teacher uses the feeling of acceptance to build interaction in the classroom during the lesson. First, the researcher interviewed the English teacher when the English teacher had no class schedule on September 3, 2021. In this kind of classroom interaction, the English teacher usually applies when the teacher accepts the feeling at the beginning of the lesson.
Moreover, when the English teacher gives an explanation of the material being taught and evaluates the students' thoughts or answers. In this interaction, the English teacher implements it by asking questions or asking students about the material being studied.
Discussion
The other two examples are when the English teacher checks the assignment that the teacher gave to the students and the students did not upload the assignment to the WhatsApp group, and when the teacher checks the presence and participation of the students in the online learning that is going on. According to the research results of the analysis of classroom interactions in this research, this online learning activity is mostly taken by the teacher, we can say the teacher center. The second is a type of display question in the learning process, the teacher also uses this type of questioning to build students' interaction in the learning process.
This display question is used by the teacher to determine students' understanding of the learning material taught by the teacher. When the teacher gave questions to students during the learning activities, it is effective to get some students to answer the questions given by the English teacher. From the results of observations of online learning activities, the researcher found that it is not only asking questions that the teacher did to increase student interaction in learning activities.
In learning activities, students are usually more active in the interaction when the teacher asks questions to students. The second is the teacher speaking during individual interactions when the English teacher checks the assignments given by the teacher to the students and the students have not uploaded the assignment to the WhatsApp group and when the teacher checks the student's attendance and students' participation in online learning takes place. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the classroom interaction that takes place is a teacher center where the teacher has more interaction with the students during learning activities.
So that, if the teacher asks, the students will be able to answer the questions more easily because they already have knowledge of the subject matter.
