Call for Paper

Editor-In-Chief of PETITA Journal cordially invites you from international community to submit your article PETITA Journal. Author Guidelines: Article submitted for publication have to check to the following guidelines:

1. Papers should discourse the themes of law in general, including legal theory, legal philosophy, constitutional law, legal debate, socio-legal, human rights, international law, court and justice, sharia law, constitutionality of parliamentary products, law and politics;

2. All articles must be written in British English or American English;

3. Article must type in one-half spaced on A4-paper size, using Cambria font 12;

4. Papers length is about 5,000-10,000 words, insufficient word count will reject automatically;

5. All submission must include a 150-200 words abstract written British English or American English;

6. All submission must have file in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format;

7. Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with his/her/their institution and complete address;

8. In the matter of writing citation and bibliography, PETITA follows the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) manual style. A citation requires the name of the author(s), title, edition, publisher, year and page

PETITA Journal is international journal based in Faculty of Sharia and Law, State Islamic University, Aceh-Indonesia. The PETITA Journal focuses on publishing law research, legal theory, legal philosophy, constitutional law, legal debate, socio-legal, empirical legal studies, human rights, international laws, sharia law, constitutionality of parliamentary products, law and politics, and other law issues. PETITA publishes law article from scholar coming from South East Asia countries. However, a qualified article from other regions highly consider to publish, as long as fulfilling all of submission requirements. All articles must be written in British English or American English.

Double-blind review also uses for articles submitted to PETITA Journal. The Editorial Board selects from law scholars, having reputable in law research. PETITA is issued two times a year, April and November. The deadline submission for April period is in 28 February, and 30 September for November period. Editor-In-Chief highly appreciates the willingness of author[s] who participating as significant contributor in developing PETITA: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Hukum dan Syariah.
