The aim of the research is to determine whether the quantum learning method is effective in the students' daily activities in the vocabulary of Muslims in the eighth grade of MTs Al Hikmah Balekencono Batanghari East Lampung. This means that the quantum teaching method is effective in the students' daily activities in the vocabulary of Muslims in the eighth grade of MTs Al Hikmah Balekencono.

The result of a preliminary survey of students' vocabulary of Muslims' Daily Activities At the Eight Grade. According to the table above, it can be seen that the students' vocabulary is low.

This research is expected to encourage the students to master the English lesson, the students feel relaxed and enjoy when they learn English lesson, and solve their problem of understanding the meaning of word in the sentence because the teacher can find the suitable technique and method used in teaching. The principal must convey to the teachers that they must know the students' problem in order to achieve the learning process effectively.

Finally Based on the definition above, the researcher can conclude that Quantum Learning brings joy in teaching and learning processes that have been shown to be effective for all ages. The quantum learning procedures consist of six phases tied to correlative and mutually complementary principles.

There were two variables in this study, the independent variable was quantum learning and the dependent variable was the vocabulary of daily activities of Muslims. Thus, the researcher tried to offer a new quantum method of learning about the daily activities of students' vocabulary of Muslims. Quantum learning brings joy to teaching and learning to develop students' interest and motivate them to memorize.

Whereas, if the quantum learning method is well used in learning English, the students will acquire a lot of vocabulary. Based on the above paradigm, the researcher hypothesized that if a student gets a good score in the English test, the quantum teaching method is effective in the daily activities of the student's Muslim vocabulary. However, if the student gets a low score in the English test, the quantum learning method is not effective on the students' vocabulary in Muslims.

There were some indicators that students should achieve in this variable (vocabulary Muslims' daily activities), they were:. The population is all individuals of interest to the research.39 The population of this research was the eighth grade of MTs Al Hikmah Balekencono Batanghari, which consists of 52 students who are divided into two classes. It was taken from the eighth grade of MT's Al Hikmah Balekencono Batanghari, which consists of 26 students.

In group sampling, sample units contain groups of elements instead of individual members or elements in the population41. In this method, the writer used the eighth class of Class VIII A, which consisted of 26 students, as a sample.

After giving the treatment, the researcher gave the post test to the students to find out the result of the treatment, whether the applied quantum learning method was effective or not on the students' vocabulary Muslims daily activities.

Therefore, the researched standard test was used in the written test, namely multiple choice, the total number of the test was 25 questions. The score for the correct answer to each question is 4, so the total score is 100.

Data Analysis Technique

To investigate whether there is a significant effectiveness of the quantum learning method on the daily activities of the vocabulary of Muslim students in the eighth grade of MTs Al Hikmah Balekencono Batanghari.

Description of the Research

  • The Description of Research Location

MTs Al Hikmah Balekencono Batanghari has infrastructure to support its teaching-learning process including extracurricular activities. To measure the students' vocabulary Muslims daily activity, the researcher used the pre-test before the treatment was given. In the first meeting of this research, the researcher conducted pre-tests to find out the initial difference between the class that determines similar level.

Vocabulary pretest result Daily activities of Muslims in the eighth grade of MTs Al Hikmah Balekencono. Moreover, based on the above frequency distribution table, it can be concluded that out of 26 students as the research sample, only 1 student got the highest score, which is 76. After analyzing the weakness and understanding the vocabulary of students, Muslims daily activities, the researcher conducted the treatment to help students memorize vocabulary daily activities of Muslims.

After the students have been given the treatment, the researcher did the post-test to measure their vocabulary knowledge daily activities of Muslims with different questions and vocabulary. The post-test was conducted in order to target students' vocabulary daily activities of Muslims after treatment. Furthermore, based on the above frequency distribution table, it can be concluded that out of 26 students as a sample of this research, 2 students have obtained the highest score which is 84.

Interpretation

To know the critical value of chi-square (ft), the researcher first calculated the df, df is the degree of freedom. It can be said that there is a significant impact of the quantum learning method on the students' daily activities in the vocabulary of Muslims in the eighth grade of MTs Al Hikmah Balekencono Batanghari. Critical value If the t-observation was 5, the researcher interpreted it based on the above question.

It is known that the quantum learning method was significantly effective with students. To know the critical value of the t-test (t-table), the researcher first counted the df, df is the degree of freedom. It means that there is a positive significant effectiveness of the quantum learning method on the vocabulary of students in the daily activities of Muslims in the eighth grade of MTs Al Hikmah Balekencono Batanghari.

Discussion

The researcher recommended this method to the teacher so that quantum learning can be used as an alternative method in process teaching learning. Because the quantum learning method allows the students to learn more from each other and find easier ways to memorize vocabulary and understand the material. Before conducting the research, the researcher conducted a pre-test to find out the basic performance of the students before treatment.

The result showed that the highest score was 76 while the lowest was 36 and the mean score was 54.8. The post-test result showed the highest score to be 84, the lowest to be 44 and the mean score to be 68.2. As a solution in teaching English, especially in vocabulary memorization, the teacher should give some methods to interest and pay attention to the students, so that they are not bored to catch the material.

After the student was interested, the material given by the teacher would be easier to understand by the students. Based on the discussion above, the researcher could draw a conclusion that the students' vocabulary Muslims' daily activities are built up after they were. This was evidenced by mean pretest scores that increased from 54.8 before treatment to 68.2 after treatment.
