Topic : Build Curved Side Chambers Sub Topic : The Surface Area Of The Sphere

Meeting : -

Time Allocation : 40 minutes A. CORE COMPETENCIES

CC-1: Appreciate and practice their religion

CC-2: Appreciate and practice honest behavior, discipline, responsibility, caring (mutual assistance, cooperation, tolerance, peace), polite, responsive, and pro-active and show the attitude as part of the solution to various problems in interacting effectively with the social and natural environment as well as in position ourselves as a reflection of the nation in the association world.

CC-4: Processing, reasoning, and presenting in the realm of the concrete and abstract domains associated with the development of the self-learned at school, and were able to use the method according to the rules of science.

Preliminary Activities Time

Teacher connects the topic that will be learned with previous topic that is a area of circle by questioning.

3. Motivation :

Teacher prepare students with motivation by showing vollyball making video : “From that’s video, for example the diameter is 30 cm, have you calculate how many volley rubber material minimal which needed for 1 volleyball

1. Look at the Tools and Materials first.

2. Split the plastic ball into 2 parts.

3. Take the pin and the strap. Plug the pin into the end of the curly strap, then plug it again into the center of the center of the half plastic ball surface.

4. Wrap the rope so that it covers the half plastic ball surface.

5. Make a Circle using half plastic balls on the sketch. After that, make a circle in the center of the circle using the ¼ circle fold earlier.

6. Take back the string that has filled the surface of the plastic ball. Then cut the rope in half..

7. Wrap it around the circle that has been drawn on the sheet of paper. Place it right from the center point that was made earlier, until it fills the image.
