This study aims to determine the effect of variations in preheating and cooling media on the tensile strength of SMAW welding results. Tests to determine the tensile strength of SMAW weld results with variations in preheating and cooling media.

Total Elongation Results

An increase in strain value is affected by the high preheating temperature where the higher the preheating temperature the material will be more ductile due to slow cooling and allow more ferrite transformations while other factors influencing are the density or density of the cooling medium where the density is smaller, the cooling rate will be lower [20].

Plastic Elongation Results

The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) in the study was 70.36% where the two independent variables had a significant effect on the response, while 29.64% was affected by errors and other factors that influenced the research. Based on the observations, the results showed that it was very rare to find dust on the furniture and items in the room (Item:1). The measurement result showed that 100% of the biological quality reached the standard that was less than 700 CFU in accordance with Permenkes RI Number 1077/Menkes/Per/V/2011. This assessment was carried out by measuring each point measured using lux meters in accordance with the SNI of Energy Storage in the Lightning System.

The welding process uses a travel motor as a welding assistant, so the welding speed can be continuously set at 8.3 mm/sec. The workpiece that is prepared for testing is cut into smaller sizes for both corrosion rate testing and residual stress testing. The size of the sample used for corrosion rate testing measures 10x10 cm in the area that is not shaded (b) and for cutting it is 20x20 cm (c) which can be seen in Fig 3.

To determine the corrosion rate in the SUS 304 test specimen, three electrodes are arranged by pairing each electrode. In the shear test, the strain gauge sensor is attached to the back of the sample as shown in Fig.

In FIG. 7 shows that when the heating temperature in the static thermal stress treatment is high, the temperature at the base metal is also high (T1, T3, T5). Temperature evaporator 1, left AC network 1, middle AC network1 and right AC network shows the cooling rate using a car AC compressor data collection is according to figure 3. Meanwhile, in temp evaporator 2, left AC network 2 , middle AC network 2 and right AC network 2 shows the cooling rate with a modified/separated AC compressor in the vehicle system. The result of this research is that the split jet compressor can be used to replace the car jet compressor without significant changes.

The disadvantage in this study is that the cooling rate is different, the split AC compressor takes longer, this difference is that the refrigerant and the system of the split AC compressor are not exactly the same as the normal AC compressor system in the car. In this research, it is necessary to further improve the compressor replacement system for separate AC, such as refrigerant replacement, capillary tube expansion valve and filter.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The cooling system in the car has been redesigned based on the standard refrigeration duty cycle, with only changes to the compressor using a ½ PK split AC compressor, no changes to the condenser, evaporator, filter, expansion valve and piping in this design. From the modification of the car AC compressor to the split AC compressor, a different cooling is achieved, the cooling rate is faster than the normal car AC compressor, because without changing other components such as freon, expansion valve and filters, but also without essential changes. changes can still produce a sufficient degree of cooling. There are four factors that influence thermal comfort: air temperature; humidity; Air movement and radiation. The effective temperature can be determined by coupling the dry temperature and humidity in a psychometric calculator to get the wet temperature, which is then linked to the air movement on a nomogram chart [13][11]. There are four data studies related to thermal comfort, namely: dry temperature, humidity, air movement and effective temperature.

While the pattern of changes in air motion tends to be unaffected by time, with a fluctuating pattern. Effective temperature is obtained from the combination of measurements of dry temperature, humidity and air movement processed in psychometric calculators and nanograms, the calculation results can be seen in Table 3.
