This year's white speaker was Susan Prager, Executive Director and CEO of the Association of American Law Schools, who spoke on the topic of "Legal Education Matters." Susan Prager is a graduate of Stanford University and the UCLA School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the UCLA Law Review.

In May, she was named dean of Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles—the first woman to hold that position at the institution—and was scheduled to begin those duties in late fall 2013. The White Lectureship on Legal Education was created when Professor White left retired in 2000 after 26 years as Legal Education Consultant to the American Bar Association. The office is responsible for the accreditation of the law school, the collection of statistics and the liaison with other subjects of legal education.

Fifth Annual Public

McKinney School of Law's chapter of Equal Justice Works celebrated its fifth annual public interest recognition dinner on April 13 in the Inlow Hall atrium. It is the largest organization in the state dedicated to non-ideological, non-sectarian, non-governmental provision of civil justice.
