Materi Grammar untuk Kelas 5 SD

1. Simple Present Tense

Simple Present Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan fakta, kebiasaan, atau kejadian yang terjadi saat ini.

Rumusan:

- (+) Subject + Verb 1 (s/es untuk he, she, it) - (-) Subject + do/does not + Verb 1

- (?) Do/Does + Subject + Verb 1?

Contoh:

- I play soccer every Sunday.

- She plays the piano.

2. Simple Past Tense

Simple Past Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sudah terjadi di masa lalu.

Rumusan:

- (+) Subject + Verb 2

- (-) Subject + did not + Verb 1 - (?) Did + Subject + Verb 1?

Contoh:

- They visited the museum yesterday.

- He did not finish his homework.

3. Parts of Speech (Bagian-bagian Kata) - Noun (kata benda): cat, house, teacher - Verb (kata kerja): run, eat, write

- Adjective (kata sifat): beautiful, big, smart

- Adverb (kata keterangan): quickly, carefully, happily

4. Sentence Structure

Kalimat bahasa Inggris biasanya tersusun dari:

Contoh:
