Indianapolis, December 3rd, 1916
Forty ninth year, sixth regular business meeting. The meeting was called to order by the vice president, last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
New business:
The illness committee reported the following members sick: Wm. Wallmann, four weeks and Karl Freund, one week. It was decided not to collect quarterly dues at the next meeting. Two new candidates to join the society were presented: George Schue and Karl Lentz, both 23 years old. Jacob Joepper, Herm. Doerre and Julius Neumarkel are the character examination
committee for George Schu. Oscar Freund, Harry Hohlt and Frank Freund are the character examination committee for Karl Lentz. It was decided to use Germania Park as location for the anniversary festivities. The preparations committee may draw additional members who wish to help out. Albert Minger, Aug. Maschmeyer and Jacob Joepper were elected to be the book keeping examination committee.
As there were no more relevant matters to discuss the meeting was adjourned at this point.
