und Angenommen Verhandlungen
Es wurde beschlossen daβ alle die Nammen welche Security sind sollen einzeln vorgenommen werde en und es stelte sich heraus daβ alle gut
sind blos Christ Harmoning wurde nicht für gut Angenommen weil alles in seiner Frau ifrau Namen ist es wurde ien Antrag gestalt daβ ein Comiette soll ernant werden um mit
Niemeier darüber zu sprechen ob er nicht könte Andere Security geben als Comiette wurde
Ausbezahlen soll bis die Trusti in der
Recorder Office nachgesehen haben ob alles richtig ist ferner wurde ein Kranken Comiette ernant Südlich Herman Stieneke
Nörtlich Christ Häberli Westlich Henry Hohlt Es wurde ein Antrag gestelt wegen dem Sekretär ein Geschenk zu machen wurde auf den Tisch gelegt bis zur nachsten Versamlung beschlossen daβ die Trusti sollen jedes mal ehe sie aus dem Amt gehen sollen in der Recorders Office nach sehen sollen ob alles richtig ist oder nicht
ferner wurde beschlossen daβ in der Nästen Versam=
lung die Ball angelegenheiten soll gesettelt werden beschlossen daβ die Bücher untersuchung von die Trusti auf den Tisch gelegt wird bis nächster Versamlung

Indianapolis, February 1st, 1885
Eighteenth year, ninth regular business meeting. The meeting was called to order by the president, last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
New business:
It was decided to examine all names listed as security individually. As a result, all were found good with the exception of Christ Harmoning. His was found unacceptable as his wife is the sole financial liability. It was suggested to form a committee to discuss this with Niemeier and ask him if he could act as financial liability. Wm. Hohlt and Wm. Wischmeyer were appointed to serve on that committee. It was suggested to table John C. Stortz’ affairs until next meeting.
Additionally, it was decided that from now on all who want to borrow money from the Society must provide two men as financial liability. Also, the treasurer shall not release the money until the trustees have checked with the Recorder’s Office that all documents are correct. Next, an illness committee was elected: Herman Stieneke to be in charge of its South division, Christ Häberli in charge of its North division and Henry Hohlt for the West division. The request was submitted to make a gift to the secretary – this was tabled until next meeting. It was decided that at the end their term of service the trustees shall check that everything is correct at the Recorder’s Office. Next, it was decided to settle the ball issue at the next meeting. Also, it was decided to table the book keeping examination by the trustees until the next meeting.
At this point the meeting was adjourned.
