öffnet. Das Protokoll der letzten Versammlung
wurde verlesen und angenommen.

Es wurde ein Antrag gestellt und unterstützt
das die Mitglieder nicht mehr verpflichtet sind die Leichenfeier eines verstorbenen Gliedes mit bei zu wohnen except die Beamten
Ebenfalls das Ablesen des Plakats wurde eben
für unsern Picnic haben können. Der Schatzmeister
wurde beauftragt 1000 Cigarren zu kaufen
für den Picnic. Für den Picnic wurde dann
folgendes Komittee ernannt:

Für Musik zu bestellen Dick Rosebrock und Wm Köster.

Indianapolis June 3rd, 1923
Fifty sixth year, twelfth regular business meeting. The meeting was called to order by the president, last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
The illness committee reported the following members ill: Henry Lösche, two weeks; Edward Peters, one week.
It was discussed and agreed that the members will no longer be obligated to attend the viewing of a dead society member, only the officers will be expected to do it. Also, the obituary will not be read either. The park committee reported we can have Columbia park for our picnic on July 19. The treasurer was instructed to purchase 1,000 cigars for the picnic. The following working committee were appointed to work at that event: Luis Lösche and Ed. Baumer were elected as
chairmen; Dick Rosebrock and Wm. Köster will hire musicians; John Bresler, Fred Pottmann, Chris Rosenbaum, Harry Westerfeld and Guz. Maschmeyer will work at the first bar; Herm.
Hohlt, Ernest Schultz, Harry Stickan, Willy Meyer and Fred Hoeltke will work at the second; Wm.
Winkelmeyer and Fred Meyer Jr. will sell dance ribbons; Chris Schlensker, Wm. Schröder, Aug.
Rieman and Harry Wallmann will make lemonade.
At this point the meeting was adjourned.
