Indianapolis, May 4th, 1890
Twenty-third year, twelfth regular business meeting. The meeting was called to order by the president, last meeting’s minutes and the yearly report were read and approved.
New business:
It was decided to leave the gloves committee as acting until the next meeting. It was decided to give the market foreman some remuneration if he helps us to get the market booths for the reduced price. A committee was formed to deal with this business, with the following members elected on it: Wm. Maschmeyer, Wm. Büscher, Hr. Stienecke and Fr. Stickan. Should a member tell anyone about this he will be fined one dollar. A second committee was formed to deal with the hay market for market booths the size of 10 feet. It will consist of Wm. Büscher, Wm. Hohlt, Henry Weghorst, H. Schöneman, Wm. Mayer, Wm. Wischmeyer and F. Stickan. It was agreed the committee has the right to act as they see fit for the benefit of the society. It was decided to form a committee to find a picnic location for the 24th of July.
At this point the meeting was adjourned.
