NATIONAL ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING Kansas City, Missouri - October 18, 1946
The meeting was called to order by Dr.
w.
T. Spanton, Chairman;in the national F.F.A. office in the Hotel President. Those present included: H.B. Swanson, J. H. Pearson, E. J. Johnson, D. M. Clements, J.·B. Perky, H.

Sampson, H. E. Nesman, Mark Nichols, and A.w.
Tenney.The Executive Secretary reviewed the program for the .Victory

·Actions taken by the Board of Trustees were reviewed.
It was moved by Mr. Nesman, seconded by Mr. Perky and carried, that the Advisory Council approve the action of the Board in rejecting the accomplishment report of the Mountain Lake, Minnesota Chapter • .
It was moved by Mr. Clements, se_conded by Mr. Nicho;ts and carried, that the Advisory Council approve the action taken in recommending Roy Turner to receive the Honorary American Farmer Degree.
It 'WB.S moved by Mr.· Swanson, seconded by Mr. Johnson and carried, that attendance at the national convention in 1947 be limited to the official family.
It was .moved by Mr. Svanson, seconded by Mr. Johnson and carried, that the Advisory Council approve all other official actions taken by the Board of Trustees.
