Charls Tegeler wurde 4 Wochen und Charls Hohlt 2 Wochen und Fritz Niemann 4 Wochen krank gemeldet.

für diese Angelegenheit wurden ernant Wm Westerfeld Wm Hohlt Crist Schlensker und die Beamten weil sonst keine wichtige Geschäfte forkamen, folgte Vertagung.

Twenty eighth year, fourth regular business meeting. The meeting was called to order by the president, last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
New business:
The illness committee reported the following members sick: Charls Tegeler, four weeks; Charls Hohlt, two weeks and Fritz Niemann, four weeks. It was decided to organize a ball as usual, on Thanksgiving Day November 25 in Germania Hall. Wm. Westerfeld, Wm. Hohlt, Crist Schlensker and the society officers were elected to appoint working committees in charge of this event.
As there were no more relevant matters to discuss the meeting was adjourned this point.

The committee for arrangements appointed the following working committees for the ball: the treasurer and the secretaries will take care of the newspaper ads. Wm. Westerfeld and Wm.
Hohlt will order musicians. Crist Schlenker will order cigars. The trustees, the treasurer and Cris Schlensker will work at the cash register selling tickets. Jacob Off, Julius Neumarkel and Fritz Pattman, Sr. will man the wardrobe. Herm. Lohman, Wm. Hohlt and Wm. Meyer, Sr. will operate the cash register at the lower bar. Frank Freund, Jacob Jaepper and Wm. Winkelmeier will operate the cash register at the upper bar. Albert Kempe, Herm. Hohlt and George Off will be floor managers. Albert Lentz, Aug. Mashmeier, Wm. Neirman, Julius Rummel, Gustave Schwab and Wm. Summeier will be ushers. Wm. Westerfeld and Wm. Hohlt will hire bar tenders and waiters. The president and vice president will oversee all.
