Development of Outbound Learning Models in Recreation Courses to Improve Caring Character for the Social Environment of Hamzanwadi
University Students in Selong, East Lombok.

Students have not shown the character of social care as expected, therefore it is necessary to develop an outbound learning model to increase the caring character of the student's social environment.For this reason, this research was conducted to produce a needs analysis to formulate a learning model that needs to be developed to improve the character of caring for the social environment of Hamzanwadi University students, to produce a valid, practical and effective outbound learning model to improve the character of caring for the social environment of Hamzanwadi University students.
This research is a Research and Development (R & D) research using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) Development Model. The subjects of this study were students of the fourth semester of the Physical Education Program at HamzanwadiUniversity.The research data were collected by distributing questionnaires, prototype validation sheets, observation guidelines and interview guidelines about the implementation of the model and documentation. The validation of the instrument was carried out by expert judgment which was analyzed using the Kendalls concordance test, the practicality test was carried out by observing the observer, the effectiveness test was carried out by looking at the caring character score before and after using the outbound learning model. From the results of the need analysis, it can be concluded that the character of caring for the environment and character of caring for the social of students did not experience any real changes after participating in the study tour. The outbound learning model produced based on the validation results was declared valid to improve the caring character of the student's social environment. Thus, this model can be implemented through outbound activities in recreational courses by carrying out several specific activities with the caring character of students.
The model is very practical to use to improve the character of caring for the student's social environment. The level of incentives of agrements between the two observers on the practicality test of the implementation of the model is in the very practical category. The resulting outbound learning model has high effectiveness to improve the character of caring for the student's social environment. The results of the trials conducted revealed that the caring character of students on the post-test results was more improved than the caring characters of students in the pre-test results.Thus it can be concluded that, this study produces a model that has been declared valid, very practical, and has high effectiveness to improve the character of caring for the social environment of Hamzanwadi University students.

Mahasiswa belum menunjukkan karakter peduli social seperti yang diharapkan, karena itu perlu dikembangkan model pembelajaran outbound untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan social mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan analisis kebutuhan guna merumuskan model pembelajaran apa yang perlu dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan social mahasiswa Universitas Hamzanwadi, menghasilkan model pembelajaran outbound yang valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan social mahasiswa Universitas Hamzanwadi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan Model Pengembangan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation (ADDIE). Subjek penelitian ini, mahasiswa semester IV prodi penjaskesrek Universitas Hamzanwadi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan penyebaran angket, lembar validasi prototype, pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara tentang pelaksanaan model serta dokumentasi. Validasi instrument dilakukan dengan penilaian ahli yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Konkordansikendalls, uji praktikalitas, dilakukan dengan melakukan pengamatan oleh observer, uji efektivitas, dilakukan dengan melihat skor karakter peduli sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran outbound. Hasil analisis kebutuhan (need analysis) dapat disimpulkan bahwa, karakter peduli lingkungan dan karakter peduli social mahasiswa tidak mengalami perubahan yang nyata, setelah mengikuti kegiatan studi tour. Model pembelajaran outbound yang dihasilkan berdasarkan hasil validasi dinyatakan valid untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan social mahasiswa. Dengan demikian model ini, dapat diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan outbound dalam mata kuliah rekreasi dengan dilaksanakannya beberapa kegiatan yang spesifik dengan karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan social mahasiswa. Model pembelajaran outbound ini, sangat praktis digunakan untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan social mahasiswa. Tingkat pencentages of agreements antara kedua observer pada uji praktikalitas pelaksanaan model, berada dalam kategori sangat praktis. Model pembelajaran outbound yang dihasilkan, memiliki efektivitas yang tinggi untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan social mahasiswa. Hasil ujicoba yang dilakukan mengungkapkan bahwa, karakter peduli mahasiswa pada hasil post-test, lebih meningkat dibandingkan dengan karakter peduli mahasiswa pada hasil pre-test. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, penelitian ini menghasilkan model yang sudah dinyatakan valid, sangatpraktis, dan memiliki efektivitas yang tinggi untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan social mahasiswa Universitas Hamzanwadi.
