6. Learning goals/competencies Students are able to apply reproduction system in animal, artificial insemination, pregnancy detection, diagnosis of diseases and reproduction disorder and viable to apply technology of reproduction correctly.
7. Description/Syllabus Internship in Department of Reproduction is conducted in 6 weeks. Including. Materials consists of :
Anatomy and physiology of reproduction, reproduction hormone mechanism, preparing and storage of hormone, application of reproduction hormone, estrous detection in cow and small ruminant, estrous synchronization and super ovulation in female animal. Semen collection, evaluation macroscopic and microscopically. Semen processing with diluter, frozen semen processing.
Application of artificial insemination, detection of pregnancy, diagnosis of distocya and handling.
Detection of sterility. Treatment of reproduction disorder.
Evaluation is based on the ability of students handling distocya, treatment reproduction disorder, apply technology of reproduction in animal.
