Books On Demand
Dear Colleague,
I am excited to announce a new service IUPUI University Library is launching to provide the IUPUI community with access to more books and to deliver those books quickly and efficiently—Books On Demand.
With Books On Demand, the records of nearly every recently published book a librarian would have considered buying for the Library's collection will be added to IUCAT, the library catalog. If you want one of these new books, just click the
“Get It for IUPUI” button. You can choose a preference of print or eBook. The book will be available to you as quickly as two hours and will also become a part of the Library’s permanent collection.
This program will give students, faculty, and staff access to more books than the Library has ever been able to afford before. If you would like access to a book which is not available, you are always welcome to send book requests directly to your Subject Liaison Librarian.
Librarians are adding access to thousands of new items to the collection with this program. Further, this will expand our successful suite of On Demand
Services. We would love to hear your feedback about this new program or any of our existing On Demand Services.
Sincerely,
Kristi Palmer, Interim Dean IUPUI University Library

Articles On Demand
IUPUI University Library provides you with access to hundreds of journal subscriptions; yet, there are thousands of active journals publishing content every day. The Articles On Demand and Interlibrary Loan services allow the Library to deliver you articles from journals to which the Library does not subscribe, fast.

Films On Demand
Through a connection to the film archive, Kanopy, the Library provides access to a catalog of more than 30,000 educational, entertaining, and enriching films. The Library will purchase a license to films that are viewed by IUPUI students, faculty, and staff. These films can be viewed for personal use, screened in class, or featured in a public performance.
