DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF AIR QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM USING FUZZY LOGIC METHOD

ABSTRACT

At this time, the progress of the times has shifted the development of the industry towards the use of machinery and means of transportation. Industrial development This causes various environmental problems, especially the decline in quality worsening air. In Indonesia, the concentrations of CO and NO2 gases have high concentration compared to the concentration of harmful gases other. For this reason, a design for an air quality monitoring system is made which is able to display the values of temperature, CO and NO2 through the website and other methods fuzzy logic as decision making in these conditions. Hardware used in this tool consists of NodeMCU ESP8266, DHT22 sensor, and MQ-135 sensors. In this study, testing was carried out at 2 case study points, namely the RORO port and the largest market in Bengkalis. From the test results The average value obtained at the RORO port is the temperature 38.91˚C, CO 5.43 ppm, NO2 17.11 ppm, and the condition is in Good status. While on the test in the market In the worst case, the average value was 31.60˚C, CO 5.86 ppm, NO2 17.26 ppm and in Good condition.

So from these data it can be concluded that the environment around the RORO port and the busiest market is still good condition.
