(Why) XPS belum ada di Indonesia,

sementara karakteristik riset di Indonesia (UI, ITB, BRIN ) sudah menuntut adanya

identifikasi unsur dalam skala atomic yang dapat mempengaruhi chemical dan electronic state suatu bahan yang tidak dapat

diidentifikasi oleh ICP, EDAX maupun AAS.

(Who) Kebutuhan yang tinggi dari alat ini, tidak hanya dilingkup BRIN tapi juga perguruan tinggi. Beberapa mitra sudah menanyakan keberadaan alat ini di BRIN sebagai lembaga otoritas riset terbesar di Indonesia.
