Althcugh k . p r a e s i g n i s i s normally a v e r y v o c a l s p e c i e s , w e h e a r d no c a l l s - a t dusk o r a f t e r d a r k . S e v e r a l i n d i v i d u a l s were observed emerging from t r e e h c l e s a t dusk b u t t h e y moved toward t h e t c p s o f t h e t r e e s ~ i t h o u t v o c a l i z i n g .
