I will be out of town for most of the next month, and I think by now we have had a chance for everyone to comment who wishes to do so. Accordingly, I am sending you (and the exploratory committee) the final version of our report for you to use in meetings with the Senior Academy and Chancellor Bantz. As I know you will, I recommend that you confer also with Executive Vice Chancellor Sukhatme and Vice Chancellor Warner. Both of them should have an interest in this proposal.
With this transmittal, I think the work of the exploratory committee is concluded. Thank you for letting me join with you and others in discussing this idea. I certainly hope Chancellor Bantz concurs with the recommendation to establish The Last Lecturer as a signature event for IUPUI.
